These cheesy, soft biscuits have a hint of garlic and are topped with melted butter and parsley. It’s easy to make your favorite Red Lobster cheese biscuits at home from scratch!

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose Flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 stick of cold butter
1 tsp salt
1 cup cold buttermilk
1 cup of cheddar cheese
½ stick of butter
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp parsley

    The one thing I have learned about blending butter and flour is to freeze the stick of butter and grate the butter into the flour, works for me.

    Just in case anyone doesn't have buttermilk, you can mix 1 cup of milk to 1 tbsp of vinegar or lemon/lime juice. No need to mix. Just let it sit for 10 mins and it will do it's own thing. Other alternative is to (be like me and) keep the powdered version of buttermilk on hand (saco cultured powdered buttermilk blend). Walmart has it for $4.48

    I made these today and they were slamming! I doubled the salt and garlic and added a pinch of ranch seasoning to the glaze and these are seriously the closest I’ve ever come to RL’s recipe.

    The biscuits had the exact same texture as RL’s and they were just delicious. Thank you!
