Chris Pratt has made a career playing lovable losers that we all want to root for. Pratt made the unemployed slacker boyfriend Andy Dwyer a fan-favorite on Parks and Recreation -- so much so that the producers decided to make him a series regular.

Andy Dwyer was originally just going to be a temporary character on the hit show but Pratt's performance convinced them otherwise. But before Pratt even made it on the show, he was actually living a life similar to his character.

Today, Pratt is one of the biggest action stars in the world due to Guardians of the Galaxy -- but here’s how he went from living in a van to Star-Lord.

No matter what Pratt will do you gotta admit he's a pretty funny guy

Everybody states Chris Evans or Chris Hemsworth as their favorite Chris but my favorite Chris is Chris Pratt.
  • Chris is literally the embodiment of success, but the thing that completely separates him from everyone else is he is actually having a good time in the process. It's so obvious that he doesn't take any of it for granted. He really is a great man at heart, kinda reminds me personally wise of Henry Cavill.

That "network connectivity" line wasn't scripted, which pissed off the writers because it was so funny and they didn't write it.

He was destined to work with Zoe Zaldana. Not in Star Trek, not in Avatar but finally in Guardians.

"It says you could have network connectivity problems" is one of the greatest lines in TV history, and Pratt came up with it himself!
  • If you want to become a actor in Hollywood, move to Hawaii and hope one of Cheech or Chongs kid's discovers you.
  • Chris Partt was also in wanted he was the douche bag friend to wesley. Hey played Barry but I'm pretty sure not many people knew about that.
  • we must sacrifice other people to keep him alive for ever he is a legend

i know he use to be fat...but i call bs on him "tipping the scale at 300 lbs"...no way he was that big

What's wrong with living in a van down by the river? If I had a van, i'd do it. I'd rather have freedom like than that being tied down with bills and and a mortgage. That being said, his fart at the end was epic. Easily a 10/10. Well done, Pratt.
