  • Wow! Such a day! and 32k??!! be well, Kate, and get some good sleep...our prayers go with you! bc!
  • Katie, hope you're just fine after your ordeal. Vinegar, for bog standard stings. Sauce Tarte for bee stings. You must have taken the rowte, that I took. It's to avoid crossing a busy road. Your next steep climb is up out of Betanzos. Good luck.

Tomorrow is a fresh new day. I hope you’ll shake off the previous day’s vibes and that you’ll experience more Camino magic like the kindness of the two men who helped you with the sting. 🥾❤️
  • You have totally inspired me to learn some Spanish before my camino in September. Just started a conversational class this week!! Buen camino.

I love the way you pronounce the Ñ. Its perfect.
  • I took that left way. It's definitely beautiful and it's definitely a lot longer! So sorry about your painful experience. Hope all goes smoothly from now.

Another danger on the camino to be put on the bad encounter list along with how to cope with trying situations. Dogs, horses, cows, wasps, and hornets. Safety awareness list needs to be handed out when you get your pilgrim passport. And a place to submit new reports of things to be added to the list. How many people get caught in these kinds of travel situations and they never get reported. A camino awareness list would alert people to possible encounters and how to identify and cope with them. And no, I am not stressing the bad things, just the things to watch out for. When people visit a new country, they simply don't know what to watch out for or how to handle the situations or how to treat the wound. And I know there should be a nice informative way to alert travelers of possible uncomfortable situations in areas that they should be aware of.
