www.cocainebear.movie/

Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner's plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild dark comedy finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500- pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow … and blood.

Cocaine Bear stars Keri Russell (The Americans), O’Shea Jackson, Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Brooklynn Prince (The Florida Project), Isiah Whitlock Jr. (BlacKkKlansman), Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones), Hannah Hoekstra (2019’s Charlie’s Angels) and Aaron Holliday (Sharp Objects), with with Emmy winner Margo Martindale (The Americans) and Emmy winner Ray Liotta (The Many Saints of Newark).

Directed by Elizabeth Banks (Charlie’s Angels, Pitch Perfect 2) from a screenplay by Jimmy Warden (The Babysitter: Killer Queen), Cocaine Bear is produced by Oscar® winners Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, The Mitchells vs. The Machines) for Lord Miller, Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect franchise) and Max Handelman (Pitch Perfect franchise) for Brownstone Productions, Brian Duffield (Spontaneous) for Jurassic Party Productions and Aditya Sood (The Martian) for Lord Miller. The film is executive produced by Robin Mulcahy Fisichella, Alison Small and Nikki Baida.

  • Love how this bear career is going in Hollywood. From Revenant to Prey now this movie. Give this bear an Oscar!
  • @Jdn__0001
Crazy how Ray Liotta has like 3-4 more upcoming movies left even after his death. What a legend. Rest in piece Ray.
  • “Let’s see what kind of effect that has on him.” Has the same vibes as “what could possibly go wrong?” and I love it.

Genuinely one of the times I had the most fun while watching a movie. I didn't expect it to be this good, nor this wild and crazy. Definitely worth a watch.
  • Glad to see this bear getting more roles. I've been a fan since The Revenant.
  • What an amazingly uplifting story about a timid little black bear finally learning to unwind.
  • I love that line. "Apex Predator, High on Cocaine, Out of it's mind." LOL
  • Universal Pictures: Ok we got Dinosaurs , Sharks , Aliens ... Now what? Jamal: I got a idea...

Give this bear an Oscar. Not only did it do cocaine in such large quantity, it also didn't die of a heart attack immediately!
  • I love that they managed to make this story into a full length feature film.

this movie was nothing what I expected and it actually went over my expectations by a lot once I seen based on a true story I was hooked and actually ended up loving this movie!! 🐻❄️
  • I loved this movie. Especially my favorite scene was at the end when the bear took infinity gauntlet and snapped his fingers, saying “I am bear.” The saddest part!! I cried a lot.

Finally a movie for those of us who've been able to blend in with the other mature adults but our hearts can't deny what really amuses us
  • If they wanted us to come running back to theaters, this is the kind of movie they should've offered sooner. I'm definitely going.
  • This movie was actually very good. It had the right amount of serious dashed with good comedy scenes! It's up there with Eight Legged freaks for me! I was surprised I found myself rooting for the bear most of the movie too, especially at the end though! For those who don't know, this movie is loosely based on a real event of a grizzly ingesting about 75Ibs of coke but it died too quick to have even had the chance to hurt anyone thankfully, too bad for that bear:(
  • @tzastin.
I went in watching this movie thinking how it could have possibly even made it into theaters and came out thinking how genius of a movie it is. Like an actual genius script writer/ director could wrote this. Refreshing ass movie, original, not an old movie no one asked to remake, not a sequel (yet?) and had a mix of comedy and suspense. GG
  • The "Based on a True Story" movie I always wanted, and it's apparently going to be the Horror/Comedy I never knew I wanted. Long live Pablo Escobear.
  • It's crazy to say that a movie about a bear doing blow looks like the most entertaining movie to come out in a long time.
  • I can’t wait for the Cocaine Bears versus Tornado Sharks movie.

This movie had all movie genres rolled into one. Movie was great! A lot better than I expected
