The Warning: Paulina Villarreal - Evolution (Drummer) (2011-2022)

Bottom line: Pau is the first drummer that I have actually concentrated on during a song even if she's not singing. She's just fun to watch. She's an entertainer.

Every time I watch her play I become more impressed by how talented she is. She was born with refined skills, on drumming, singing, songwriting and a bonus one, being a front woman. Pau is remarkable!

I've said it before, Paulina will go down as one of The greatest talents of all time!

20 years old, and already a seasoned pro with well over a decades experience behind a kit, and in front of a crowd. Not many people in the entire world, can claim that! 🤘⚡🤘

and now Pau has been awarded Rock Drummer of 2023! In my opinion, ABSOLUTELY deserved!

it is sooo cool that half the time while Dany is singing a song live, Pau is mouthing the lyrics- thats pride of ownership among other things

Paulina is 1 hell of a drummer she's painfully gorgeous and she has an incredible voice

It took me 15 years to realize how good Paulina actually is. I remember being very annoyed at a lot of young drummers back then because well, I came from a punk world. And seeing a lot of children in YouTube it just seemed like it was mostly for profit as parents wanted to exploit children in this modern day of age. It’s always been this way anyway but with social media it was very amplified and it gave me a weird eek, but I was always a fan. I grew up listening to her music since they were getting big in Mexico, it just amazes me because I had never noticed her talent, until now, that I as a drummer have developed my sense of musicianship. Anyway she’s great, she will go down as one of the greatest musicians of our generation. She’s just so natural, it’s great! And when you’re this great, things just come to you! Those three are on a great path I wish I could have gone through, I admire them a lot.

When you have a drummer / singer / composer like Pau your job is half done as a band. And then add Ale on the bass to that - phew!!! One of the tightest, technical rhythm sections ever.

Now that's a drummer coming out of her shell and finding herself and her groove...I was self taught starting at 11 years old...liker her as I got more experience the shoulders get loose the head bobs and goes back, and the arms fly out all over the drumset...she's now ---ROCKIN..!!!!! NO MORE TIGHT, STIFF, WITHDRAWN LEARNER BUT , A RELAXED LET IT GO HAVING FUN ROCKER!!!! TAKE THAT MOM AND DAD....!!!!!!! A little female TOMMY LEE.....

Great drummer and awesome lyricist. Alot of the same qualities of the late great Neil Peart from Rush except that Pau can sing also!

The first time I saw The Warning was their video "Evolve"...incredible song with killer lyrics..but what caught me was the drummer; she was bouncing with such intensity her pig tails were twirling like she might take off at any second and she was killing it! Then I heard XXI Century Blood and I was hooked.

Nice video! Pau is a musical genius! Main songwriter of the band. Her practical, but also theoretical skills are huuuuge! Classical educated in music, she has all the knowledge about composing and songwriting. But also her lyrics, Black Holes, Narcisista, Animosity are only examples of her outstanding lyricism! And how she loves her toms! To see Pau drumming and singing must be an experience that I hope to witness when they‘ll tour Europe! 👍⚡️🤘
