A weaker dollar would help US exports?! Maybe if not all countries with a import tariff slapped on their exports will do the same thing for their imports from the US.

A lot of Americans are complaining about the cost of living and inflation and yet many of them seem to want to vote for a guy who will put pressure on the federal reserve to reduce interest rates (inflationary), put tariffs on countries where goods can be manufactured less expensively (inflationary), and deport millions of immigrants all while more and more people retire and the birth rate hasn't kept up, which will further exacerbate the worker shortage and further increase prices. Make it make sense.
