I have the Ego 765cfm with 5.0AH battery and it is a beast. Never need turbo. I use it when I have a ton of stuff to move or if maybe the leaves are very wet. Otherwise, I use my Kobalt for yard, patio etc., and my Craftsman to blow out my garage and porches. The Kobalt is the most balanced and very easy to use. The Craftsman is really light and very handy for what I use it for. The Ego is the best blower you can buy imho.

Fantastic video. Thanks for your time!

Really good video! Was trying to decide between the EGO and Toro. Will be going with the EGO based on your testing

Got a skil blower, battery and charger at dirt cheap for $65. Looked brand new. Shocked to see your rating on it, it does great in my opinion. Price wise I couldn’t leave it behind. Plus the battery has a built in cooling system, when you hook it up to the charger after using it you can hear the loud air flow from the charger going through the battery vents. Awesome video.

Great review! I have a bum shoulder I was interested in how difficult it is to operate each of these. Toro has the handle, so I bought it. Had I known that the Ego had a strap I might have purchased it. We'll see. Thanks again.

I planned to get either De-yellow 20v or Ma-teal 18v for my unwired blowing needs (due to in-house batteries here), but drastic price increases on both of these sent me to Lowe’s. Just bought the 40v Kobalt with battery and charger for a cost of bare tool options on my existing battery platforms.

I'm using a Sun Joe lol. I wish it was easier to buy Stihl or I might have got one of those. Found you from Al's channel btw

I will continue using my sthil gasoline powered hand held blower that's 10yr old that performs great.
  • @gnawty4662
Very good work on this video! I do wonder why no one is reviewing the newer Echo DPB-2500
  • @bald1der
I think The Craftsman blower you used was the cheapest. In this price range I think the 410 CFM 5 Ah brushless for $149. might have faired better in your test. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for testing and comparing the KOBALT 80-volt Leaf Blower? - There is even a video of someone using the Kobalt 80-volt blower as the power supply for an RC glider that flew well.
  • @Nono-rh4lr
Hey guys any word on if we will get the BGA 60 that they have in the UK? Variable speed with a turbo mode.
  • @a.k.9425
The kobalt blower with 40V 4.0 Ah battery and charger on sale made it a better value for me. Haven't tested and timed the lowest effective leaf blowing speed yet. My 40V 2.0 Ah kobalt weed trimmer battery is 8 years old and still reaches a full charge. The new 40V 4.0 Ah battery seems to make the trimmer sound better. Corded, tough and durable. I still like my 2012 corded electric craftsman made by greenworks 235 mph /150 mph blower with vacuum and 18:1 mulching and has a metal fan. Its just too old to get another collection bag for it. The plastic closure zipper failed and doesn't stay zipped. Cordless is very nice but there is no vacuum mulching feature. After leaf blowing I use my 21 year old craftsman push mulching mower with rear collection bag.

Amp hours is part of the story, but wattage output over time is more important, if you measure watt-hours you'll get the power output over time. Volts x amp-h = watt-hours.
  • @genemetz1945
Actually I ease up on the trigger to slow down my blower so I can adjust my leaf pile as the full speed of my 80-volt blower is to much to get a neat leaf pile. I love my Kobalt 80-volt with 5-ah battery. I have had it for over 3 years.
  • @genther6668
Just purchased the ego 615 and im very impressed with the power
  • I want a battery leaf blower. Hard for me to justify spending 300$ I'd like one for small 5 minute uses. If i start my 2 cycle i feel like it should be ran 10 minutes minimum
