  • Just bought the BG56 today from my local dealer. Got it home and used it. Love it! Lightweight, powerful, starts easy, all for a great price!
  • @silviocolella3308
Much appreciation for the video. Starting off in landscaping thankful for the info
  • Very good and complete description of all 3 blowers. I currently still use the BG55 (which is 20 years old) and the BG86. Keep up the good work!!!
  • The sound effects alone in this video will make me go out and get one of these three l o l love it
  • I bought a BG 86 for homeowner use and it's been the best for me with the gutter cleaning attachment and the vaccumm attachment i totally recommend the Stihl BG 86 and i also like the anti shake feature

I am glad I watched your video. I have a BG 55 that I have had for over 20 years. I had no idea they had an air filer or a screen. It runs fine. Not a heavy user though. Got to order a filter.

Good video. I do lawns as a side job. I'm in Australia and since 2011 I've had 2 BG 56's and since upgraded to the 86. My first 56 had the same filter as your 56 but the second one and my 86 both have cylinder filters. Also both the 56 and 86 are both available here with or without the spring assisted starter and both fit flat or round nozzles. I have both nozzles but use the flat one 99% of the time. It's better for driveways or footpaths. I find the round nozzle is only better for blowing piles of leaves when on the lawn. I love the anti vibration on the 86 (the reason I got it). My first 56 lasted 7 years of near daily use and my 2nd one is still going after 4 years. Handed it down to my dad to replace his old school corded blower and extension lead haha

Thanks for your very informative comparison video. 😊
  • Now I’m in Australia, we don’t have the BG50 here. Now about the bagging option, for sucking up leaves, which I got with my BG 56 which has been trouble free...😊 Love it❤
  • @fabienpics
Very good info, thank you 👍👍👍
  • @chrisp.5272
Got my first blower the BG50, did some landscaping last winter and chose Stihl over the BT150. Seems solid for the average homeowner, quick jobs, roof/gutter, driveways, patios, and walkways. Love it.
  • @Dr777cl
    Great Review 👍 👍 Thanks
  • @Rebel9668
I've got the 50 as I only need to blow off the back deck and the front porch. Our driveway is gravel and has grass growing in it so if I rev it up to blow the cut grass out of it, it starts throwing the gravel too, lol. I mulch my leaves with my riding mower in the fall so I don't really use it for leaves either except to blow them off the deck and porch.

Awesome video thank you, purchased a SH (BG) 86 C today from the STIHL Shop in Penrith NSW Australia 🇦🇺 they and STHIL Australia should be paying you guys a commission
  • @CmaverickD
Thanks for the comparison. This is exactly what I was looking for. I don't have a big yard but i get a lot, and i mean A LOT of leaves throughout the fall season. In terms of just performance as it will be ran a lot, which of these three would be recommended. As a side note I will probably get the bg 50 as it will be the most affordable for me, but i would still appreciate any recommendation before I buy one.
  • I've has the 55 for 9 years, using on a dozen yards for blowing off driveways and porches/cars after mowing. Think I'll pick up the 56c and keep rocking! Nice video
