The role of observation, however, introduces a subtlety. In quantum mechanics, the act of measurement or observation affects the system being observed. This is often referred to as the collapse of the wave function. Essentially, before measurement, a particle can exist in a superposition of multiple states, but upon measurement, it 'chooses' one of these states.

It is great to finally hear it put so well. I knew whewn I started practicing that the imahges I visualized and concepts were in sync with these copncepts but not in a way where it was completely evident to me at the time because I never heard of quantam physics or field.
