After playing the game for almost a week, I finally realized I was upgrading my cars wrong and I figured many of you probably were too.

Gran Turismo is available exclusively on the PS4/PS4 Pro.

  • Miss the old tuning aspect in the game. Buying parts and tires. Now it just seems so sterile and unappealing modding and tuning. And I really miss the used car lot. I would buy a lot of unloved cheap cars to tune.

What was so complicated about this…

  • What? I thought it was pretty clear.I saw it while playing the open Beta.

I just read that the reason they changed the car upgrades and got rid of GT mode is because "the younger generations dont understand how cars work basically, that they dont understand how to upgrade or tune a car". That just blew my fucking mind, let's trash a game that millions of people love to accommodate young people being dumbasses, is basically what they're saying.

If anyone did not know this they obviously didnt pay any attention to the cars power or weight

Is it so much to ask for a realistic racing game with in depth tuning like being able to change parts like ECU, Turbo, Suspension, Engine, Exhaust... But then also be able to change visuals like Body kits and stuff. But each thing changes performance so adding a spoiler increases down force at the cost of speed. Games always have 1 of the other or neither.
