Thank you all for the great memories with this game! Probably the most important game for the entire Super GT channel tbh.
  • GT Sport was my escape from the Covid era, made many friends, got my racing skills way up to compete in S, joined a drift clan and competed. Basically I spent way too much time on this game but the memories will stay with me forever.
  • I was just doing a health and safety inspection of Barry R but aside from that blatant lie the silver lining is I shared a podium with Super GT in his last ever GT Sport race and for that I’m truly honoured. Best of luck for the future mate you deserve it 💪🍻
  • @shashankars3632
RIP GT SPORT😢😢. I played it so much during the lockdown and I just miss those days 😔
  • @sosapilot
GT Sport, and you, Super GT were a big part of why I got back in to sim racing/racing games as an adult. I grew up playing Gran Turismo, and then I stumbled across your channel years ago and that reignited the spark for me, so I bought a wheel and GT Sport. Thanks!
  • Glad you decided to make this video. The nostalgia hit hard. Very cool to see the moments you came into your own as a creator.
  • @aadipai
Lewis ramming you off is the most Lewis thing that he could have done.
  • @arkeys74
Fun coincidence you also missed out on GT5 and GT6, so did I. I had a huge racing game break between GT4 and GT Sport where I was busy building a career as a musician as well as having a couple of kids, but in 2017 my kids got a ps4 and I saw there was a new Gran Turismo release available. I downloaded it to see if I could have any fun with it.. the shadow realm portal was opened!! 😀

You and GT Sport got me into sim racing at the age of 64. Thanks to both.
  • @jaimes5716
why do they do this now. You paid for the game but now you essentially lose it.
  • @Tacko14
As Death said: I am sadness. I do have issues with the career mode, but… As to the physics, spot on for me as a casual player, dayjobber. Difficult enough to have to know what you’re doing, not so difficult that you have to be top notch to just get into it. And with gts we got the liveries and the scapes and all that. It was like a hippie artschool in ‘68, we were all over it, every one a creator. With the lockdowns I got into the dailies. I wasn’t any good in gt6, since there were no ratings I never took notice. In gts I had to get better. I did. Still not very good but I did improve a lot. The sense of online community there was in gt6 online shifted from racing to posting artworks in gts, but not wholly so. Yt exploded with channels on racing technique. But now, with gt7? Oh… er… life is back to ‘normal’, office life certainly is if you believe your employer’s directives. It’s not, but you have to comply at some level at least. I won’t say it was 100% for the game itself, circumstances helped, but it was a GOOD time. I’ll remember and cherish it for my whole life. Goodbye, little green buddy. Elvis has just left the building.
  • I’m going to miss GT Sport. They have the best music ever. Every time I start up the game, one of the relaxing songs starts playing and I never get tired of it. R.I.P. 2017 - 2024

so long and farewell, my good friend, gran turismo
  • Thank you Super GT. My oldest brother passed away in 2022 and we loved watching you race. We wanted to beat you when we got better at the game. My brother loved all the Gran Turismo games and is the Reason I love cars and motorsports. Appreciate all the memories I have watching you race with my brother ❤
  • @Hero_Of_Old
So many good memories. GT Sport is what REALLY got me into racing. I remember finding your channel and learning how to improve my driving and racing skills, then I'd go into the daily races. Good times! I had played the older GT games and scoffed at the idea of online racing but it turned out to be more fun than AI.
  • @cloudmangalm03
It's such a callback to see Super GT playing this game. All the memes that came out of it, and all the memories. So long, GT Sport. You were a good game.
  • @UFONINJA7
Gt sport is when I got serious about racing and bought a wheel . I had an awesome time and made a lot of different skins for cars and even remembered my first manufacturing win with Ferrari gt3 and also raced for McLaren too and enjoyed myself . I thank the Lord for all the friendships and racing memories I had in this game
  • @Raymanhmj547
I want to say that I started watching this channel around the time you started moving into GT sport watching you inspired me to get GT sport and start playing online and now I only recently gotten gt7 so to see GT sport go is nostalgic to me as well amazing to see where this channel went such an inspiration for me
