So sorry for the delay between videos - hopefully this one is worth the wait. Did you find this video interesting? Join the discussion at discord.gg/retrogamingnow

This turns to "creepypasta" to "horror story" to "goofy movie". Literally.
-
This story was FNAF'ed. What started as a genuinely eerie, horror story turned into another inter-galactic story about saving the world.
-
This story felt like it started good and then... the silly entities happened to exist. It's like playing the first hour of any F.E.A.R game only for it to lose all the horror and starting a CoD campaign
-
The thing about this ARG is that it’s concept is taken to it’s ‘logical conclusion’ which means it inevitably stops being scary in favor of an actual narrative.
-
I like how it went from "yay I got tones of diamonds!!" to the moon crashing on the moonbase
-
These stories are everything young me ever feared while playing Minecraft. Weird entities, unexplained world changes……. This video would have terrified me
-
What a disappointing route this ARG took. It started off being genuinely terrifying. The sounds made me curl up in my chair, the scenes of panic from Markus were infective and genuinely made my heart race. Even the entities and unexplained world changes were creepy and gave me chills. But as soon as the Sector 4 and everything with that got introduced, it got genuinely less creepy. It felt more like some strange intergalactic fanfiction. The entities were still kinda creepy at that point but the more they got explained and the more time we spent in the Moonbase and Adminspace the more value they lost as horror creatures. I hope with the next installment of this series they stick to the horror and leave out the frankly unnecessary Admin and Dev stuff.
-
I find it funny how whenever an entity is around, they drop the framerate to make it easier to edit the entity in
-
These ARGs describes perfectly the feeling of Minecraft in development when you start to play it
-
I SERIOUSLY missed this kind of creepy minecraft found footage type stuff. This is the kind of stuff that gave me nightmares as a kid.
-
Love how the void beings very obviously went from either some kind of imposed image or manipulated texture of something that looks super uncanny in minecraft to silly not entirely out of place looking in game entities
-
The moment I saw that “entity sliding out from behind the block” was actually just a png being click-and-dragged into frame, I knew where this was going.
-
I think he specifically choose slimes as the monsters Markus killed, because their spawn chances in Minecraft are dependent on the moon phase fitting the theme of the series. Nice touch
-
The character of Markus must be the bravest man in the world. If I saw anything that could qualify as an anomaly in my world then I would leave and never touch the world again.
-
The starting was so scary but at the end it turned into a goofy moon story
-
35:24 The absolute buildup to this joke is amazing, i freaking love it.
-
The beginning: Ooh thats spooky The end: I have no idea what is even happening anymore.
-
scariest part is 3:13 where Marcus uses a lever to open a wooden door
-
The beginning was peak horror but then it turned into a goofy save the world movie
