Imagine going through all this effort to make an ARG and then not bothering to download a period-appropriate Bandicam version.
  • @sixtyfour_dd
why minecraft args always called like “mikegamingdude26”

When Retro stops talking and lets the footage from the video play out by itself, you know stuff's about to go down
  • How to make a Minecraft creepy pasta/ mystery: 1. Play on an old version of Minecraft 2. Record on low quality and at 5 fps 3. Set your render distance really low 4. Add random creepy noises

these kind of args are so good until all of the sudden they enter "the *space*" and it just becomes science fiction

I'm so fascinated with Alpha Minecraft. It has a like a strange vibe of mistery, unknown, and uncanny sometimes. It felt like a much more realistic game tbh

The ghost story aspect of old Minecraft is one thing, but I don't understand the fascination the ARG community has with this idea of Mojang running a top secret magic ingame admin server that connects two ways to everyone's singleplayer world. I'd genuinely sooner believe the game was haunted.

the thing that REALLY throws me off about this arg is the bandicam logo. that logo was made in 2017 while all the videos take place around 2010. the original meme bandicam logo was made in 2009, when the recording software was released to the public. other than that, it seems interesting

16:42 "Ingrenteds" is not Danish for ingredient, unless who ever wrote it is dyslexic. Danish word for ingredient are "ingrediens".

Favorite part is how whenever the person recordings the alpha footage get scared, they instantly leave instead of doing the classic tropes of exploreing, adds a really nice touch of realism.

Ok the description at 6:00 just made me laugh with how forced-creepy it was lmao. Oh yeah I was really lucky to find this beautiful mountain range, just a shame it doesn't make up for the DARK EXPERIENCES of my friend wink wink nudge nudge

I once encountered a bunch of redstone torches placed randomly around in a plains biome while I was playing bedrock. Nothing creepy happened though.
  • If I had a nickel for every time RGN covered an Alpha Minecraft ARG where a normal player has a mysterious person join their world, cause their game to glitch out, show them a bunch of anomalies, and teleport them to an Admin Sector in the sky, then I would have two nickels, but its weird that it happened twice.
  • Nah bruh, if Windows blue screens, your screen recorder is not gonna keep running
  • He enters a similar "Room 617" at 22:02 in the other version world, Alpha v1.0.17_02, he goes through that lead to "the mines."

I can't express how much I appreciate this channel. The ambience, atmosphere, the fantastic scripting/dialogue. It's all very well done. Great job RGN
