Shower and thunderstorm activity is starting to become better organized in association with the tropical wave located roughly midway between the Cabo Verde Islands and Lesser Antilles while it moves westward into the central Atlantic.
Conditions become more conducive for development by early next week, and a tropical depression could form when it approaches the Lesser Antilles. The system is expected to move west-northwest gradually and is forecast to reach the Greater Antilles by the middle of next week.

A Floridian here. And I've seen many Hurricanes. In the past years they became big business. In nowadays I am even happy to see one coming. Florida is full! Stop building! Stop moving here! The laid back Florida is gone. Prices are thru the roof. I miss the old days including Hurricane parties. :)

Cruise plans? Please. I wouldn't step on one of those COVID-laden barf boats if you paid me to do it.

What kind of name is Invest 98L? Does it mean something, weatherwise? Do meteorologists have something about it?

Rents went up with property values went up across the country during Covid. Interest rates were so low that people were paying over price which raises values. Rental companies took advantage just like every other industry. They figured out that people could pay so they kept it at that rate. So stop blaming the government, that’s business owners taking advantage across the board. Now I can agree that price of living is higher in certain areas. But it’s always been that way.
