SECOND LANDFALL: Tropical Storm Debby officially moves over land, where it is expected to move north

Debby makes its second landfall overnight.
The storm officially moved inland around 2 a.m. August 8 in Bulls Bay, South Carolina.

The Asheville Fire Department (AFD) has deployed a team of personnel to Williamston to help the North Carolina Emergency Management Agencies in their response to Tropical Storm Debby.

The 16-person crew left the mountains and arrived in Williamston on the night of Tuesday, Aug. 6, at around 10-11 p.m. to help with flooding rescues.
