I remember so long ago (maybe I was 9-10) this was one of the first tricks I learned. I'm 19 now and stopped doing magic but I will never forget that "hezbullah". I think you impacted a lot of ppl with this simple trick lol
  • @oscar
The trick that inspired me to become a magician. Thanks!
  • I remember seeing this for the first time back in 2009 - 2010 and trying this for hours and hours with a deck of cards. I waved around the deck and was saying "Hezblah" for hours and hours.

This is what got me into magic. This one video. Have been a card guy for 6 years now because of it.

This is the 1st video I've ever watched on youtube, 10 years ago... I was 16.

One of my friends did a trick to me in 2008, and I was annoyed at the fact that they wouldn't tell me how it's done. So, I came on YouTube and searched "best card trick in the world", and found this video. I wanted to one up him, so, I watched this video multiple times, and kept trying to mimic everything done here. I thought the problem lied with in the deck of cards I was using, so, I made a purchase for Rider Back cards online, since they aren't sold here (we have League Back), and still nothing. But, that started my addiction into card collecting, and now I have over 300 different decks of playing cards, so, thanks for indirectly impacting that, haha! Once I learnt how to perform this trick, I never stopped practising, and now this has been an amazing hobby of mine for over 12 years, and it's a great way to impress and be the coolest person in the room!

I would like to thank you, good sir, for uploading this video. You've provided me an excellent addition to my learned-collection of card-magic presentations.
  • 1:04 you got the trick there. The 5 of spades is the blue card and it's kinda attached to any card you pick. Then he does it again and puts a RED 5 of spades at the bottom, he manages to make you pick that card and finishes the trick with the last move.

Rode my bike to the grocery store after watching this video as a kid and bought two packs of playing cards so I could replicate this trick. How has it been so long since?
  • @TheColmcolz
Great trick. Watched it about 10 times in a row pausing every few seconds but found out the trick and will amaze the buds with it

For those who need a walkthrough, here's how he does it: SPOILERS Before the trick, he stacks the deck so that the bottom 2 cards are 5 of spades red back 5 of spades blue back I'll show it like this: 🔴5♠️ 🔵5♠️ He spreads the cards out on the table and picks a random card. This time it was the 8 of diamonds red back (🔴8♦️). Then he "shuffles" the deck. But watch closely. The bottom cards are 🔴5♠️ and 🔵5♠️, and they both stay at the bottom of the stack in his RIGHT hand. He makes a pile in his LEFT hand. The 🔴8♦️ goes on the top of the stack in his LEFT hand, and the stack in his RIGHT hand has the two cards at the bottom (🔴5♠️ and 🔵5♠️). He puts the RIGHT hand stack on the LEFT hand stack. Now somewhere in the middle of the deck these three cards are together. The 🔴5♠️ is on top of the 🔵5♠️, and the 🔵5♠️ is on top of the 🔴8♦️. Like this: 🔴5♠️ 🔵5♠️ 🔴8♦️ Now he spreads out the cards and finds the 🔵5♠️. He pushes the deck into two stacks. The RIGHT stack has 🔴5♠️ at the bottom, and the LEFT stack has 🔵5♠️ at the top, with 🔴8♦️ underneath it. Then he puts the RIGHT stack (with 🔴5♠️ at the bottom) under the LEFT one (with 🔵5♠️ on the top). He picks up the deck and turns over TWO cards. It's sneaky because he makes it look like he's only flipping one, but he flips both, showing you the 🔴8♦️. Then he turns them both back and pushes the 🔵5♠️ off of the top of the deck. Now we have: 🔵5♠️ on its own 🔴8♦️ on the top 🔴5♠️ on the bottom He "shuffles" again, but keeps the 🔴5♠️ at the bottom of the stack in his RIGHT hand. Whenever you say stop he shows you the bottom of the stack in his RIGHT hand and you see the 🔴5♠️. Then he shuffles the deck for real and spreads out the cards. 🔴5♠️ and 🔴8♦️ are somewhere in the deck, but you can't see them. Then he shows you the 🔵5♠️ as the reveal
