For those looking for a more advanced version, you can have your friends shuffle the deck. Then sneak a peek at the bottom card and do an overhand shuffle to place the card in the 4th position. This addition of mine blew my friends minds!

Love it. I would have called it the quantum entanglement trick. It looks like you're creating a link between both cards on each side of the deck.
