Hey! I just wanted to say thanks for taking some time to tune in 🤗, I hope you like! My favorite part is my dad impression. I'm definitely getting a phone call about that later lol!
  • @HardGayMoose
Not a vegan, but trying to improve my diet and be less meat reliant, thank you for these, I can't wait to try.
  • I am 60 years old now and I went vegan this time last year....better late than never! Also about this time 7 years ago, I had open heart surgery due to a chronic lifestyle and I was close to death. I was obese, had smoked 80 cigarettes a day, had drank heavy in my earlier years, I never exercised in my life and I was a chronic junk food eater. That has all changed since the surgery. It took time, but I worked my way up to doing kettlebells 2- 3 days a week, I walk a lot, I jog 2-3 days a week and I no longer drink, smoke or eat junk food and i'm no longer obese. I swopped over to vegan during Covid as I was nearly there anyway on a meditereanean diet for the last 7 years. The most important thing for me about food no matter what diet you are on is the elimination of processed junk food which can even work its way into a vegan diet if you let it. This weekend coming I am running on a relay team in our local city marathon which will have about 10,000 runners. We are doing it for fun and not for time as I'm a bit of a slow runner. But its just a miracle I can do it. One time I couldn't walk for 500 yards without stopping to catch my breath......and a good diet made it all possible. You look in excellent shape and thanks for sharing your receips and story. What impressed me the most that you took the time to answer all those who posted comments. That is even more amazing than the content in the video itself.....shows that you care about people. 🙏👍💪

I have to say your format is fantastic. The no nonsense prep and cooking section followed by the discussion and context makes it so much more enjoyable to watch than the average cooking video. Really glad I found this and your other channel.
  • @seraphinamarini
I LOVE that you're making vegan recipes without the typical "meat" substitutes like soy etc., just real foods done well. Bravo. Keep em coming.
  • @asam3054
Love your channel and vibe! I love how it’s truly plant based, high protein, no imitation meat, and REAL food! Your recipes are not wasteful, so easy, filled with nutrition, and beautifully served. I usually only make my walnut mixture raw, I’ll have to try the cooked version next time. New subscriber! 👋🏾
  • I have made the brocoli recipe about 3 times this week it's become an obsession although I forgot the chickpeas today! I'm an uninspired cook and I love that you don't measure things because it feels more fun and intuitive. I also love how you don't talk through the cooking it actually makes it so much easier to watch in a world full of noise and distraction these videos are a gift and it's probably the first time I've wanted to cook instead of just watching cooking videos and feeling overwhelmed.
  • @kiorasmommy
i love how you place the camera up so that we can see the ingredients and enjoy the video and mentally take notes without having to stop and process any words (i learn best visually) thank you!💜💰
  • Today I made the Broccoli and Chickpea with Cashews. It was so delicious. Even though I'm not vegan, I will frequently make this recipe.
  • @konradhk00
Incredibly relaxing to watch. Nice and simple recipes. My family went vegan for a few years and had a hard time sticking to it once my wife got pregnant and was lacking protein and iron. Recipes like this should help us steer more towards a plant-based diet as we've previously desired to do. Let's see how we rock out when baby #2 comes through.
  • Andrew, thank you so much for what you share! I'm so much more inspired to cook after I watch your videos. Your recipes help me get through the day/week without cooking the same old thing, without spending the whole night in the kitchen, without eating too much processed food. As someone who has recently become plant based, I feel gratitude to be able to learn from your creations/lessons here on Youtube. You rock!
  • I love the background music, the structure of the video, and the recipes. AWESOME presentation all around. Love your sense of humor and your beard. Thank you for sharing your vegan cooking skills!
  • @leahandriley
Respect, Andrew. Love what you’re doing here. From a Kiwi whose been vegan 30 years, you got it going on. Appreciate the love and effort you are putting in. Cheers

I made the broccoli and cashew meal last night and it was amazing! My husband loved it too! I just discovered your channel and I’m so excited to try more of your recipes. Thanks for sharing them.
  • @garfieldmtify
Hi Andrew, I really enjoyed watching the various dishes you prepared, the different ingredients, how you mixed foods together, your processes, and the sounds were great as well adding something extra special to your production. You sitting and explaining the foods, your thoughts on that, I liked that as well. Your stories are dope, they pull the audience in deeper which is great, I love them!
  • @Kristen_Colin
The cashew broccoli recipe was a hit at my house! Loved how easy it was to make and I had all the ingredients already. Can’t wait to try the walnut recipe. Thanks for the inspiration!
  • @mayabrook1153
I really love the style of this video. The music and structure make it really engaging. Plus I like your personality too! The way you plated the taco meat the first time convinced me that I NEED to try it. I want to try the first meal too. Looks delicious! Thank you.
  • @lh9568
