I sent this to my wife who was getting a colonoscopy. I do not think she found it funny.

    ski-bap ba-dap butthole
  • @apokkalypse
I think it’s important for you to know that this song has become so deeply ingrained in the subconscious of myself & my roommates that now one of us will casually hum “ski-bap, ba-dap” and from the other side of the house you’ll just hear a disembodied “B U T T H O L E”

Tom's dedication to colon cancer awareness is truly commendable.

It's like Freddie Mercury and Weird Al had a mutant love-child that got raised by a clan of gopniks.
  • Best part of this character is that he actually does have a lot of restraint, but he chooses to use that restraint exclusively to identify the most devastating moment to let it loose.
  • This is one of the few examples of a song gag where it actually gets funnier as the song continues as opposed to going kinda dry, just due to the nature of song gags. Excellent work
  • I enjoy the code of honour of that character in the song. They may be a villain, but they have an iron clad rule: They Will Not Say It, unless you set it up for them. In fact, the sport for them is that through repetition and the reputation they have built, everyone should know how to avoid the trap, which makes it all the more delicious when, inevitably, you slip and give them an opening...

if every song as much energy as 1:30 onwards there would be world peace

I love how every instance he says in the song he says it, it gets progressively more powerful, by the final verse I could feel the earth tremble at the utterance and sheer destructive power of the phrase
  • @MadOrkest
The “Oh, I fuckin got you.” Cracks me up.

The unsung hero of the song is "My family hate me" with the tambourine shake, it's just a perfect moment, frozen in time.
  • @caghoiy
Sang this at karaoke, genuinely had the whole bar laughing at “my family hate me” thank you ❤❤
  • @gracedhunter976
YouTube made me a mix titled “Children’s Music” and this is the first song
  • @Nick-op6ni
It truly baffles me that every sound, every visual detail, it’s all intentional. Not a millisecond is wasted here. This video is flawless comedy.
  • You know how some of Tom's songs have been getting some killer animated adaptations for them? This needs to be one of those. I can just imagine that goofy guy shooting up from the pews to yell out to the vicar to check his butthole surrounded by a crowd of aghast family members.
  • My husband and I laughed so much over this song, and I sang it so much, that my 7 year old knows it now. So today, when I couldn't find where I put my phone, I cried out "Where did I set my PHONE!!" to no one in particular, and my husband and kid sang, in perfect unison "Have you checked your butthole??" GAHHHH!! I walked into that one!

I was looking for this song, and you’d never guess where I found it
