Used to listening when I was 15 y.o, bought the CD and now listening again, resdiscovering this masterpiece of the metal! Long live Sepultura, best trash metal band ever, a Brazilian pride! Territory is killer, a punch in the gut! My favourite Sepultura album 🤘🔥

From the beginning to the end, this album will always be a beautiful masterpiece. Can't just listen to one song, has to be the whole album..
  • Give it up for Igor!!! There are many things that set this album apart from the rest, but Igor's drumming is, for me, the most important.

What a time for music this was! So many great albums in a 2 or 3 year period & so many still hold up today. This is Seps best imo and should be recognised as one of the best metal albums of all time.

Bought this as a 13 year old kid in 1993. Changed my world. What a time to grow up!

for me this is sepultura's best album. every song is pure fire, energy, and GROOVE! pure rebellion, punk spirit with a heavy metal armor, and the musical embodiment of tribalism that was happening around the world at the time! this album literally created a genre of music....often imitated, never duplicated! best moment: solo at 6:26 . . . change my mind
  • Before i first heard sepultura back in the early 90s i was into metallica, slayer , megadeth and pantera. I was like, is this the heaviest metal?? No, sepultura melted my face! I was immediately hooked, this album and arise are classics and i still give em a spin on a regular basis.
  • The only band Slayer was literally afraid to take on tour around this time . I read interviews back in 92/93 with Kerry coming up with petty excuses , disparaging Sepultura as nothing but " Kill´em all " / " Reign in blood " imitators , not even worth the supporting band slot ... as I was reading that I understood sth else entirely ... he was simply afraid to take them out on tour and get slain each and every night , just like Sodom did here in Europe a few years earlier . Sepultura behaved like really gentleman , expressing their appreciation for Slayer´s output , not even addressing King´s stupidity/fear .

Primeiro CD que comprei na minha vida, primeiro emprego e primeiro salario, almocei e jantei esse play.

Turning 30 years old at the end of this year (2023). Best Sepultura album and one of the best metal albums ever!
  • Foi nesse álbum que o grande Sepultura encontrou e expressou sua identidade. Tá tudo aí: raiva, metal, peso, crítica, força, melodia, agressividade, intensidade, brasilidade, andamento e rítmica. Tudo bem equilibrado. Sensacional. Obra de arte.

Used to and still listening to this album. I was 13 when it came out in 1993. Great album.

Unique sound, one of my favorite records. The bass section is huge.
