  • The Caretaker is probably one of the most sensible characters I've ever seen. Like instead of waiting for more signs to leave, she just took the kids and got the f*ck out of there.

The beginning is completely different from the rest of the show. Started out as a mystery, then became a horror/action series.

Gotta love how they anticipated "bio-hazard-thingy", quarantined 4 survivors and yet proceed to yolo open the most SUS cargo with zero protection.

That Babysitter is so smart she need to be praised and paid a lot. 21:25
  • If only that old guy knew how to communicate instead of giving vague information, this whole ordeal would be a lot more easier to deal with

  • This show was one of Guillermo Del Toroā€™s best works, it genuinely has one of the coolest concepts for ā€œvampiresā€

18:54 as a romanian I can tell you that a strigoi is not a vampire. It is said that when someone passes away they might turn into a strigoi, a monster from the romanian folklore who stops cows from giving milk and other bad stuff (I canā€™t remember right now). You can tell if a dead person turned into a strigoi if some kind of horse doesnā€™t want to jump over the personā€™s grave. You can also stop a dead person from becoming a strigoi by piercing a nail trough their heart
  • "That, felt a little extra" this is why I like your channel. The few times you put subjective comments are the best.

I love how Argus Filch kept his hate for children the same throughout different movies. šŸ˜‚

It was all I could do to not spit my tea out when Adam said "...and his intimidating carton of milk." šŸ¤£
  • I'm a huge fan of this show and you did a great job with the recap as usual.
  • "Dang. Imagine he did Frodo dirty like dat doe." I CANNOT WITH THIS MAN šŸ’€
  • I love these recaps. I didn't realise till my grandfather got Alzheimer's but different care home have different levels of care. Most places can't deal with Alzheimer's patients. Once they start wandering it's a quick path to incontinence and unpredictable behavior, even aggressive/violent out bursts... And organ failure. The wandering is a very common sign for the need for medical care assistance homes.

This was an AMAZING series. Highly recommend for fans of horror/scifi/suspense.

21:55 So, UV flashlights don't hurt them but sunlight does? Does that mean the visible spectrum of light hurts them instead?...but if that's true then the reflection of ANY light on ANY surface, no matter how dim, would hurt them. So, which is it?
  • I can't even explain how excited I am that Mystery Recapped is doing The Strain.
