  • Thank you so much for the detailed instructions! I have a 3 year old EU2200i that was brand new in the box, never used, and wouldnt start. Gas tank full with new gas, oil level good, air filters clean, spark plug correctly gapped. I followed your instructions and found that the main jet was completely clogged. After cleaning and reassembling, it started right up on the third pull. Thanks for saving me a couple hundred dollars! ps I noticed you forgot to reattach the fuel line and had to re-do the air filter housing ;p

Excellent video. Than you!! I was given a barely used EU2200i partly because it “ran when parked” but prior owner couldn’t get it to run or even fire. Main jet was completely blocked. Runs great now!

Thank for your walkthrough. Cleaned a few carbs before on gas trimmers and mowers but was not familiar with this model. Made the job easier!
  • Muchas gracias, help me fix mine, getting ready for hurricane season from Puerto Rico!
  • Thanks for the video. I followed it step by step and everything is working fine now
  • Thanks for the video mate, I have an almost brand new generator that would run perfectly but would stall under any load. I have never done anything like this but was able to watch your video step by step…. I was so excited when it burst into life and ran perfectly once I did this, and it means I have now learned a new skill if I need to do again in the future. One additional thing I learned though was instead of the wire brush, a small set of oxy cleaning needles from the tool shop cleaned the little pin holes well as they are like tiny mini round files…. But overall thanks a million!

Thanks for the vid buddy, I need to do this to mine after 3 years and 3500hrs. So glad I bought a Honda

Great video! Appreciate the time you took, hadn't ran mine in a couple years and it literally fired right up after I followed your very detailed steps!
  • The sound at 1:18 of the generator running and hesitating is almost exactly the same as 24:20. Good video for tearing down and cleaning the carb, but I am doubtful it fixed this particular problem. Maybe as you said new gas would solve the problem.

Thank you. Your videi help me a lot. My generator works fine now Thanks a lot. You are the best

Thanks for making this video. I completed all the steps but I didn't have carburetor cleaner spray to shoot through the various holes but I did use a bread tie wire to clean the Jets. Anyways the generator still won't start so what's the next thing we should look at?

Great video. My EU 2000 is running very rough under eco-mode and running great at high RPMs so I’m guessing this is exactly what my problem is. I just don’t think I have the skill to do this. I’m tempted but I’d be nervous I couldn’t get it back together or I would break something.
