I'm a pretty slim woman and I hate it when people say "Why are you working out? You're so skinny!" Listen here, Samantha. I'm not trying to get skinny. I'm trying to get ripped af.
  • As a fat person, I’m 5’7” and weigh 245lbs. I think body positivity should be separate from weight. I am body positive, my meat bag contains my soul, however, I understand that I am unhealthy, and should lose weight for my wellbeing. THIS DOES NOT MEAN I AM LESS OF A PERSON, OR ANY LESS MAGICAL 🔥🔥✨✨

Is it just me or are Cristine and Ben some of the most interesting people ever
  • “High impact cardio is not good for my 84 year old knee caps” I felt that... I felt that hard

As i was listening to this podcast I realized I was one of the person who commented a few years ago when she really started losing a getting much slimmer, asking whether she was doing alright. As she said, it did absolutely come from a place of care, I was legitimately worried that she had some kind of underlying health issue making her so skinny. At the time I was dealing with a pretty bad cancer scare so I definitely projected my own worries onto her. Now looking back I realize that it was none of my business. They are absolutely right that I wouldn’t have commented the same on a male’s channel. That’s not fair and inappropriate. Bottom line: I am sorry for putting my nose in your business all these years ago, and thank you for being patient with us as we grow along side you guys. Also thank you so very much for sharing your fitness journey on Snapchat, it has motivated me to go to the gym and not fear all of those gym bros. Truly appreciated :)

Breaks my heart when Zyler asked for pets and Ben did NOTHING. PET. THAT. CAT.

I caught myself thinking ' of course she has time to workout shes a youtuber" then I remembered you have a 9-5 and probably have even less free time than most people and that's way more inspiring than someone that has all the time in the world working out.

as a poledancer, hearing Cristine saying "it's pole fitness, Beyn" really made my heart jump! so many people joke around when I say I do poledance, but when I say "come and try it" they suddenly don't know what to say.
  • @TheMadMurf
Ben: "I don't notice other women at the gym..." LOL. Nailed it.
  • An important thing to remember at the gym: Walking into a gym only to snicker at or judge the people who are overweight is exactly like walking into a hospital only to judge and make fun of the sick and disabled people. It's just never appropriate.
  • @VanessaManley
I understand what Ben is saying about Lizzo. However, people are only interested in talking about how Lizzo is ‘unhealthy’ when she shows her body. I think the importance of Lizzo showing her bodies is not to ‘promote obesity’ but to give other overweight people representation that you can be overweight and successful/beautiful/loved. Overweight people KNOW they should be healthy. It is not others job to police their bodies

"I appreciate your confidence" is adult for "you're sexy when you feel sexy"
