i like how the little chicken raises her suspicion instead of the actual body that’s laying on the ground and moving

I agree with Jason, I would’ve pretended to be asleep too hoping the situation would solve itself.
  • I love the very common theme of saying your husbands name as softly as possible, giving him the slightest nudge, then giving up and going alone.
  • I absolutely love that switch from having the house be the safe cozy location and the attic the dangerous spooky one to essentially flip 180° once the protagonist looks down the ladder. That's super unique and I appreciate the short for that alone

As soon as she walked towards the attic " you deserve whatever happens"
  • First red flag: going to your garage at night :Second red flag: going up your attic at night :third red flag: seeing a doll move and not run

Note to future self: do not hit a monster in the face with a bat

I'm just going to say this but when the monster ran away from the original human it was a whole plot twist 10/10
  • @kerenesaunders6881
the fact that the boyfriend is just sleeping 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  • Finally a horror story with a happy ending, couldn’t think of that plot twist

I was actually annoyed at the dumb protagonist because she wasn't doing anything when she saw a literal monster but after watching it, it makes much more sense. The plot twist was seriously really good.

I'm confused, did the real lady lose her face and the scarecrow copy her body basically stealing the real woman's life. Edit: OK I had to rewatch it a few times. I think the real lady is the second one and the first lady was some creature trying to steal her life

The fear of strange noises from an attic is the beginning of wisdom

This is a great example of minimalist horror! Most of it is just a pretty girl looking at inanimate objects and being frightened. Her facial expressions really carry it. No screaming, no reliance on blood or gore, and very little in the way of jumpscares. Well done!

Love it. "Where there is no imagination, there is no horror" - Arthur Doyle. Keep up the good work!
  • i would have ran out of the house! my dad told me when i was young: if you have a home invasion, get down on the floor with a knife, and don't move! when they walk by you- cut into the achilles heal! he said, you no the lay out of your home- more then likely they don;t! how crazy is that! keep the lights out!

It's like a deconstruction of the 'dumb horror movie protagonist' archetype and I love it for that!
