At least she is giving him with different flavors each time.

My theory is she killed him but despite being free from him, she can never escape the abuse he inflicted on her.

Scare 7/10 Plot twist 10/10 Character development 9/10 Idea 10/10 total 36/40 one of my favourites!

I'm not a doctor, but her husband doesn't seem alright.

She owns an unholy amount of plates for just two people

I just realized that this makes use of some very interesting framing - at 0:50 for example you see a behind shot from right behind the husband - and what looks like the real situation - whereas when the imaginary husband is in frame you only see the face and nothing else, which is more lit in that frame than the behind shot and the view of the "real" husband as well. That, and that very close-up shot of Mercy's face right before we get to realize what tf actually is happening. It's all so very well-done; thank you so much for making this!!

It looks like he’s been dead for years, but she is still traumatised of what she’s been through. These short movies are better than actual ones lol.

The only disturbing thing about this is how he devours the damn sandwich

This is exactly the kind of horror I like. No jumpscares, short, psychological.

The sound guy did a great job.

Literally the best thing in this short film is the 4K eating sound effects.

This guy really likes sandwiches.

Meaning: PTSD from spousal abuse lasts for years, even after the abusive spouse has been dead or out of the picture for years.

I still come back to this. Probably my favorite horror short film. It’s unsettling but it also makes me laugh too cuz of the way the guy yells.
