It's 2024 and John Denver is still alive in my heart ❤️ and sure he will be living in many of your heart too.😊
  • My heart bursts with happiness whenever I hear his songs! I am 62 and have loved him since I was about 10❤

John Denver was one of the purest people on this planet. I'm only 14 but his music is still very much alive and close to my heart

Easily one of the two most beautiful voices ever. His talent set a bar I've yet to see met by anyone when his songwriting and guitar playing are added in with his singing. As a child my whole family used to sit around and listen to him. I'm fifty nine and still experience the emotions brought out by his music.

No one will ever replace John Denver or his old guitar. Sadly missed.
  • I am 62 years old too and I learned John Denver songs when I was 11 years old. I love John Denver, always have...just beautiful song writing and clear singing, what a voice! Rest in Peace......
  • nothing makes me sadder than the fact that ill never see this wonderful man preform
  • No entertainer today could pull this off. Just sitting in front of the audience and singing with such quiet talent and honest emotion. The simplicity of this song and performance is why it is so good. I watched and enjoyed this video with both my sons. Pick any five seconds of this song and it makes today's music sound like complete garbage.

when i was a kid John Denver was on TV all... the... time. it was like 'not this guy again sheesh'. but looking back now we didn't realize how good we had it. there was a reason he was on TV all the time

I pity the depressed souls that didn't like this video. This is the song my 5-year old daughter asks for each night when she goes to bed. We absolutely love John Denver and his beautiful music.

My dad saw some of the greatest performers of all time through the 70s and 80s. He always says John Denver was one of the best performers he's ever seen. He said his voice was even more beautiful live.

Took my wife to see John at Radio City for her birthday around 1981. We had great seats only about 10 rows from the stage. There was only a mic and a guitar on the stage and I commented to my wife, "I wonder where the band is...". John came out picked up the guitar and played alone for the next 2 1/2 hours. And no, I never missed the band. It was one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. John felt every word and so did you when you heard him! Rest in peace John, an American icon....Steve.
  • Excuse me while I grab a tissue. Loved these songs from my early years of playing and singing myself.

Lord, I miss this guy. I loved him then and still love him now. He brought such joy and beautiful music to the world and those in Heaven are so lucky to have him now. God bless you, John and thank you for the memories!
  • My Dad bought me my first guitar when I was ten. Alot of great memories and pictures from it. It was stolen several years ago. Hopefully and prayerfully one day I can recover it.
