  • My brother just linked me this video. As a large family my mum was one of 6 siblings we all stayed here when it was a hotel in the 80s at xmas , I think for a few years in a row although I can't be sure . I actually can't believe what I'm seeing. The staircase was grand and the then owners had 2 dogs one called daisy (a descent from the original dulux dog, and Herbie an Afghan hound who would bound down the stairs). strange what you remember. The upstairs was apartments and the out building hotel rooms. We all had these amazing xmas dinners with 20p pieces in the xmas pudding, it was most our family staying with a few others and I remember carols around the piano (probably that one) . The basement was a games room with a ping pong table. I only have fond memories. Im also quite sensitive to paranormal activity even as a child and it was a warm place. I wonder if something happened post the 80s there... This is quite heartbreaking it really was amazing especially for us working class types. I remember running up and down that staircase vividly around age 7/8 it was the best.

Adam ~ can you please remove the name of the property from your video? It is getting burgled and burgled and burgled and burgled. I have been trying to get it secured, and someone else is watching over it for the owner, who I am trying to contact. It was my family mansion a long time ago. The owner is ill, that's why it's been left, but he's still very much attached to the place, as is myself. The people sitting outside saying go in should not have been there. Very glad you made this video, you do it well, but please do delete the name or it will attract more burglars before we have the chance to sort security out. The man who officially looks after it for the owner can't be there 24/7, I can't do much as I'm 18 miles away, I am having to sort that out, in the meantime can you please delete the place name! If anyone who's seen this video and this comment wants to help, please get in touch. Thanks

What a stunning place, love seeing all the original items still in there, like you said at least they were going to use them and not make new stuff to go in there, such a shame it's been left to rot. OMG you were brave going down the cellar, every turn of the camera I expected someone to be there, and yes I did see the mist in that room swirling around twice. The outside is gorgeous, thank you so much for sharing, absolutely loved this video, take care Adam.

As you took us through the explore, here in the states I imagined the rooms in the heyday, filled with glamour and glitz, velvet, silk, and gold! What a stunning place! Hope it is restored to its former glory one day by a mega millionaire and you're given the task to come back! Thanks Adam

This home must have been so beautiful in its glory day! It’s so sad that no one can finish the work!! Thank you Adam for taking us through and sharing it with us!! 🥰 There are some spooky vibes as well!!
  • That palace rocks bro, totally beautiful are they gonna restore it. It's to beautiful to see gone to waste. Love your shows your friend from across the pond in Connecticut.

Oh Adam! You can easily SEE the Elegance this building once held. I bet men went broke trying to breathe life back into this old girl. So many owners and all failed to finish the everlasting ideas they dreamed of. What a shame is right! Love this video Adam. We can STILL SEE THEIR DREAM!
  • @jeeves1947
I had a good old chuckle when you did a runner after the "Mist",it was only "The Resident" saying "Hello"

Grand place at one time. Beautiful staircase! So sad it has just been abandoned…… Thank you Adam for tour! Absolutely loved it!!
  • When you go down the cellar and go to the end arched room, before you see the mist. The small knocked out tunnel on the left looks like s foot moves as you turn to walk away. Cool stuff! Love this explore ❤️
  • Made me laugh when you found the chairs at the top of the stairs 🤣 that was us doing a spirit box one night haha!!

It's a beautiful big house or palace. Outside is just gorgeous. It's a beautiful countryside, I love country houses in the UK, I never visited the UK, my stepdad and his family came from the UK. I always watch your videos about the abounding houses. Keep up the good work, Adam. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

All of the marble was so beautiful. Loved the price with the design on it, the grapes and such. It was nice how they were so careful to take the building apart piece by piece and lay the pieces in each room they belonged in. So when they went to restore the house it could be used again. To bad it didn't get finished. I always hate it when just leave these beautiful historic buildings to just rot away. So much of it could of been sold to use in another build if they couldn't finish this rebuild. Probably still could be. Thank you for another wonderful video Adam. Tell Lisa we miss her. Look forward to next weeks adventure! Stay safe.

This is my favorite location of all your sites. I always want to strip back the walls and see the foundations and I get to see everything perfectly clearly in this location and it's absolutely gorgeous and extraordinary, to me. All the windows panes are my favorite and the stone and the views. It's empty but at the same time it almost still feels perfectly intact like someone lives there. I absolutely love the huge stones in the floor in the basement. Absolutely my favorite vid thank you
