The thing about this self love mentality that I disagree with Often times, people take self love as a way to ignore inherently bad things about their personality that need changing, people aren't perfect, and while you should accept yourself as you are, you should always work on changing yourself for the better, morality based solely on self love stunts emotional and mental growth.

Part of the issue of self love is not taking things out on ourselves when other people have too much arrogance and narcissism within. Arrogance and narcissism is not self love - both are hate towards other people and materialistic thinking. All judgments. Judgmental people only want to be around each other. They are shallow. Peaceful and mellow peaceful are staying out of judgments more often. They get attacked socially by snobs. It’s difficult to NOT take it out on self when others do not accept us for superficial reasons, but we all go through it. All of us are learning about the soul and about wisdom within.
