Mad Love! Great video, was like being sat there with you 🙌
  • @NicolasCaron
Between this and your recent magic compilation, it really feels like you are re-energized and re-inspired Chris! Love the content and the recent vibe!! Keep up the good work!

That red deck with the diamonds on the back of it in the thumbnail got my attention immediately. My uncle gave me that exact deck as a present. It was very old but he told me there was a trick to be able to distinguish any card just by looking at the back of it. I spent about a full day figuring out the code by myself and I still have that deck and the decoding paper to this day. Good stuff

Oh man this was so much fun to watch. It is so cool to see all the tricky stuff. I love the small documentary style you do. Cant wait for the next one!
  • @phunkysai
Really really love this format, almost "documentary"-style.....would love to see more like this!

Chris, long time fan. You're making your best work right now. Imo. These mini docs, especially the Japan video, are just excellent film making. Thanks so much for putting this work out there for us to enjoy and learn.

Been watching you for years, this was such a great video! So glad you had a nice break Can't wait to keep watching more videos!

Love the recent vids man! These videos are what got me into magic in the first place 4 years ago; why I went to Magifest last year, and why I now do actual shows! For money! Lol. All of your videos kept me inspired and kept me on track. I think sometimes you can practice so much as a magician to where you become a little jaded. But every time, to motivate myself, I would rewatch some Chris Ramsay and BAM! Back out there doing that triumph until it was flawless. Or getting my fingers to move just right for a flashless pass. Thanks man! You have done a lot for the community and I commend you for it. 😏👍🏻

I love when you do these professional looking videos about awesome topics in magic. I love the history as well.

Great video Chris! Love that the magic content is coming back around!
  • @Metalfacejoel
Great fresh content for this channel. I'll always enjoy watching skilled magicians talk about magic without giving too much away but dropping enough breadcrumbs to allow people to do some research and start learning on their own. I really enjoyed fool us when Penn would use some obscure code and then I miss the rest of the episode because I've spent 20 minutes on my phone learning about some new method or performance.
  • @wakkoedu
Awesome video Chris! Loved the interview model and the fact that you are bringing something to us that you really love. ❤️ Thank you!
  • @ezion67
I really enjoy this type of content 🙂 Would be nice to see things like this more often on your channel.
  • @nv1573
Great content Chris! History like this is the lesser known side of cards where allot of tricks find their origin in.
  • This was a great episode Chris. Really enjoyed this inside look into magic and card playing
  • @evangel57
❤ this is fascinating. The dice shaving really surprised me. Also, editing made it look like you erased that mystery long red...dice thing. At 24:33 . Got me curious .
  • I really enjoyed that. Fantastic video Chris, it's nice to see you back energised. Love from the UK
