Polylock Lid and Riser System Install Part 9

Published 2018-05-15
My concrete septic lids cracked and had a huge hole in it. I replaced it with these awesome Polylock plastic lid system. Just wanted to show everyone the install process since there isn't any other videos of it being installed online. Hope this helps and gives you the confidence to do it yourself and save a lot of money over having the septic tank company do the same thing for you.

  • I believe the eight holes in the outside corners of the flange, which can be drilled out to about 5/16, are for the concrete anchors. Also, I would recommend seating the anchors and testing them before dropping the adapter over them with the adhesive exposed. Sometimes those anchors will stick, but fail to grab in a way that prevents the threaded part from spinning. If that happens you're stuck with no non-destructive way to get your adapter back. I spent the afternoon today installing the exact same system, and have two more to go. Great stuff!
