  • I have a Lexus RX350 and a Chevrolet Silverado Duramax diesel. My Silverado has some issues and what scan tool would you recommend?

Love these videos for the Tundra, I have 2017 Tundra and your videos have saved me a fortune in dealer fees. Thank you!

Great info man! You really do a fantastic job at editing in some great angles and shots!!
  • Next time would be nice to see a video where you can save 5 minutes to make a proper focused video instead of spreading all this time on 10 different activities at a time..

The AP200 is the cheapest tool for programming keys at $60. I dont think it can program smart keys but it can do everything else. If anyone needs a key made, the AP200 is the best buy.
  • The key saving just sold me buy one of these just for making keys way cheaper. As long as it saves the 350 key charge the 150 tow charge to the dealer and the 100 over charge as they bend you over, I'll take the key that turns the engine over! No other scan tool gives you that huge key saving$$$ right at the get go.

I own a Autel MX808 which I purchased in 2018 that as autel stated wasn't bidirectional but I could do injectors, abs, E-brake, DPF, and several other functions. In 2020 I believe they unlocked the MX 808 to become "bidirectional" and could do headlights, vin and sum other hot features.
  • @Smudg
Can the Thinkdiag 2 read Mercedes models from 2006 and up? including directional like headlights, ABS ...etc, and module ECU programing like key fobs? Thank you.
  • @pnojazz
Thx for doing this! Greatly needed and appreciated!❤

  • @jamesbenton1769
Hello I have a 2020toyota Tacoma v6 will this Launch x 431 elite will it show my transmission temperature? I would appreciate your answer back thank you.
  • @AAB371
Two important features/capabilities place it on my Do NOt BUy list 1. No topology 2. Not FCA/Autoauth approved. This means if you own a 2018 or newer FCA vehicle, it will just be a code reader, no active test capable. You're screwed basically
  • Awesome video Steve. I love the break down. Thank you for sharing. I really like the fact that you can buy a very capable scan tool for a very low price. You may have some things that you have to get used to like short cable etc. But having that option without spending $1000's.

The orange LAUNCH tool should allow you to add additional car brands through the Mall. I have a Benz specific one that I was able to add Honda/Acura software to. They do come at a cost to add and I believe they require yearly subscriptions for the add-on vehicle brands.
