The only episode I've never rewatch, re-read, no matter how many time I do a re-read is the death of Ace. I remember first time reading it in the manga, I stop reading One Piece for months. I can't accept Ace is gone. Man, Oda introduce him as this complete twin of Luffy. Kind, awesome, funny, stupid, loving to Luffy, strong. Not even once we thought he'll be gone, and then Oda took him. I know Oda himself broke his own heart writing this episode. He needed to take a real long rest from writing and drawing after that. Now that's true love towards the story he created.

As much as ai despise that Ace died... It what forced Luffy to finally grow up like he needed. Ace had one of the best character arcs. "Thank you for loving me' will ALWAYS make me cry.
