‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣ THIS EPISODE ‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣

The day has finally come! We have joined a new demographic of RVers with our first time traveling in a motorhome! We were so excited to pick up the new Grand Design Lineage and had 2 days to move most of our belongings from our Reflection we have lived in for the last 6 1/2 years into this 25 foot Class C!

It didn’t feel real until we locked the truck and trailer away and actually got on the highway towards Alaska! Our goal was to get to Glacier in Montana by 4th of July which meant some pretty crazy drive days!

This cross country trip in such small RV also provided us with a really special opportunity to stop and camp at Nomadic View Dispersed Camping on the edge of the Wall outside of Badlands National Park!

This is definitely a favorite boondocking location - like top 5 - that we have visited before, but it had been 4 years. The Milky Way was spectacular that night and after just a few hours of sleep, we had sunrise and donuts at a very early 5AM!

This quick detour added about 35 minutes to our travel and meant that our last day was going to be super long (like 14 hours of driving long), but it was SO worth it! Sometimes there are sacrifices needed to be made for epic adventures, but in our experience, they are ALWAYS worth it!

There aren't many things better than arriving to a friend’s home after a very long day, especially when you haven’t seen these friends in years! @grantinggrace literally welcomed us with open arms, and our 4th of July celebration officially began!

Our day on Whitefish Lake was perfection, not because of the beautiful weather or mind-blowing pyrotechnics at the end of the evening over the lake (thankfully the drone made it out alive), but because of the precious company.

Don’t ever forget in your travels that people are a destination. The beauty of nature is always uplifting and so good for our souls, but it is loving on and investing in other people that brings our family so much joy in our travels.

Stay tuned for next week as we give you a tour of our new Class C and share how we make it into a 3 bedroom RV!  Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!

Don’t wait to live your life, find your 🔆SOMEDAY🔆 now!

Congratulations to the girls for their character but also to their parents for raising two young women who are, not only willing but, eager to take on challenges like towing! A little weird coming from a stranger but I’m proud of them!
  • There is no doubt that it's easier to get in and out of places with a class C, but we are REALLY happy with our 5th wheel......interior space is a HUGE thing for us. Keep on enjoying your travels.
  • @aprilb.5643
Super nice! Needs cup holders in the dinette table. That water floating around 😅
  • You should give the camper to the girls. So they can do their own adventures!! They know how to do it, because they have grown up in it!! Then you 2 can go on your own. Maybe not all the time, but on their own adventures.

We where at that overlook, or closet to it in the early 70's. Didn't change much that I can see. We had a wicked storm over night, scared the sh-t out of us. Truck camper twisted on the bed! Love following you guys

Lots of feels in this episode. Loved the Badlands Wall dispersed camping. I've added it to my bucket list. I've been to Wall Drug before many years ago. Time to go again.
  • Congrats on the new rig! The only thing I would worry about is not having a tow vehicle, especially in Alaska!!!
  • WOW! What a great video!!! Those views were amazing. I just told my husband we HAD to do it! Thanks for taking us on all of your journeys! I can't wait to see what Alaska has in store for us!
  • We are leaving Texas in the morning. Looking forward to spending our 40th anniversary at the Wall, overlooking Badlands NP next Saturday.
  • @Take20DnD
Yup no regrets. We just visited Pinnacles last week! Beautiful!

We have the Winnebago view. Very similar to your unit. We pull a two door wrangler for all our adventures. Just my wife and I as we are retired. The Mercedez chassis is very comfortable and easy to drive. The drivers seat is very comfortable for long days driving. It will be nice that all four of you can share the driving now. Thanks for the information you sent me re places to go to in Maine. We will certainly make good use of your recommendations.
  • @theathjr
You guys are so inspiring. Thank you for sharing such an epic adventure. Safe Travels Amigos 👊

  • @bryanwood84
So fun meeting you guys outside of Homer!! Sorry I missed Layla. Hope you continue to have a safe trip !!!
  • if you're still coming to Jasper. the park & town are still closed. highway 16 through the park is open but you can't stop in the park & there is no gas in town (no one is in town yet).
  • @stevehart7057
I've got to be honest, we are retiring soon. I was looking to get a bigger truck for our camper, but seeing y'all in a class C changed my mind. I want a class C now. Thank you
