  • Looks fantastic, and your mother was so surprised and she looked so very happy. She needs chairs and table on the porch for evenings to look out. You guys did a great job, as always.
  • Your mom is the envy of all moms and grandmas. To come alongside and support, love-on and bless her children and grandson with her own private quarters, is a dream! Enjoy every visit “mom”!!! 👩🏻‍🦳🍼

Family is EVERYTHING....having a place for them to hang out.... priceless. Great job on the tiny house .
  • In plumbing always have about two spare couplings at least in case you need to CUT tubing rather than construction material.

Good Sunday morning Cortney and Riley. Mom’s tiny house is coming along nicely. Good job on the bath plumbing Riley personally I can’t never get plumbing to line up perfectly in wall. I’ve been refurbishing my duplex for past few months between student tenants, replacing commodes, flooring painting etc.. . Such a pain getting down on knees when older. Great seeing younger folks getting things done. Remember those days it was fun. Enjoy and cherish your time together. Oliver’s is precious, Riley junior. lol. Cortney, you are the best partner for all these projects. You guys are great together. Have a great Sunday.

Every hiccups from now on should have the audio of Oliver saying uh-oh

Phenomenal! Incredible teamwork, ingenuity and result. What a lucky Mom. Congratulations you two. You hit the trifecta - built this beautiful tiny home, surprised your Mom and made content all at the same time. I'm so glad Oliver is okay!

Cortney, as a home taught DIY'er I found that a dedicated corner trowel for mudding and taping is invaluable. They are very inexpensive and make that inside corner job SOOOO much easier.
  • @Woodbrew
Such an incredible build! I would be on that porch every morning sipping some coffee🌄

Oh my, there was so much GOOD stuff in this video. They are always better when both of you are available to be on the build. The comedy just goes so much higher. And it is so entertaining when one of you makes a mistake. There is never any doubt that you will recover and the recovery will be done with a smile and laughter. I love you guys. The urgent care event with Oliver struck a memory with me. I think our young one was around three when we went through a similar situation. It was rush to the ER, get him checked, and all is well. So glad it worked out that way for you.
  • "Can you feel that?" poke, poke, poke😜You two are hilarious. Most excellent bathroom🚽
  • @MrKnotWright
Courtney you should try sponge sanding the drywall much, no dust.
  • What a loving way to show your Mom how much love back. So nice....love the small home build. Glad the baby is better...music is great and video!

Outstanding work folks!! Courtney's mom really could be her slightly older sister!❤❤❤
  • Great job, crew of two. Courtney, next time you do a small mud/taping job, try adding a "hot mix" to the mud. Depending on temp and humidity, mix by adding some water and use your choice of a 10 to 20 minute dry powered joint compound to the regular premix compound. Apply it fast, then smooth and "wet sand" with a sanding sponge. You can feather out smooth as it "kicks off"... I've used this technique for years on small and larger jobs. It's fast, one day(hours), and NO sanding or dust! 💪🏻
  • When you flushed that toilet, it reminded me of an old picture. A family in the 1950’s were ecstatic about their first TV set.

You folks make Drywall Tetris look fun. Great job!
