Check out my T Shirt of the month Subscription! You get a surprise tee in the mail each month that I design. Screen Printed (not direct to garment printing) for good quality and longevity. Plus you get a free new sticker with each order too! tenhundredart.com/shop/tsotm-subscription Shirts through the Subscription are like 25% cheaper than normal Tees on my site.

I began following Ten because his art but also because of the tutorials. I know YouTube’s algorithm doesn’t reward tutorials anymore, but there are some of us out here still hungry for knowledge. So thank you, Peter! ❤
  • @Aleatoire9
This is unbelievably helpful! I’m so sick of tutorials only giving you 60% of the process. I learned digital art in like 2008 so being able to see the whole process in 2024 is just incredibly useful. Thank you so much for the vector to PS breakdown, especially how you break your colours out into their own layers! Amazing tutorial
  • You can save yourself a few minutes in Procreate when changing the layer colors by selecting the desired layer then tapping the magic want in the top left. Use the Hue/Saturation and just drag that puppy to black. Literally takes seconds! As someone who sketches in Navy Blue (cause black just seems to final 😅), this is the last step in my sketch workflow too.

Ten Hundred, we need more videos like these. Your content is so freakin' inspiring and seeing this type of 'raw' mostly unfiltered stuff from you is incredible. Love your work man.
  • @MagatsuNimura
Dude, seriously, I could see you do any type of video at this point. The quality of the video, the editing, the pacing, the narration, the information within the video. Always top notch. Thanks for giving us a deeper look into your process.

I absolutely love the fact that your work setup is not over kill, super high tech, inaccessible stuff! you know what will be good enough for your workflow and that is what you use. I always get intimidated when looking at the setup other creatives post and it makes me feel as if I cant catch up because that stuff is inaccessible for most people because of the price barrier. So thankyou!

As a cartoonist who grew up traditional, I knew getting an iPad with an Apple pencil would be the best way for me to go, For all of the reasons that you listed here. I just don't want to be tethered to my desktop computer. (It's the same reason why I love my Nintendo switch and all other portable gaming systems that came before it)

  • @bethrichards2640
Thanks for the in depth class. No telling how many people you saved innumerable hours of frustration. Nice to know I'm not the only one with lost layer hours. Looking forward to the shirt - Much thanks to you & your team!

This is the most informative and helpful video I’ve watched on digital art in a long time. I’m moved. Please continue to make fantastic art and videos. I am now subscribed.

11:55 you can also press once on the layer and then select the „mask“ option. What that does is that if you paint with a dark color it „erases“ the area and if you paint with a light color like white, it brings the line or what ever was there back.

Thank you for this video! I am new to digital art so really appreciate seeing how you do things. Most of these videos put me to sleep or confuse the hell out of me. You're awesome and beyond talented. I'm inspired! Thank you!!

I’ve watched 50 videos and nothing compares to how you describe your outlook to it all . Great video ,to the point and easy to understand. I like the way you process your style while showing step by step. As a video editor love the way you and your team have made great transitions and smooth professional takes to highlight all this. Thank you .im going to subscribe and see more videos to help my skills improve

Glad to see that not everyone adheres to the classic "sketch out blocky shapes first" approach. I'm only a casual doodler, but it still feels kinda stiff to me whenever I try to go the "professional" route vs. the childhood approach of just drawing the "final" design right away.
  • I love drawing, I have tons and tons of supplies, tradition and digital, but I just can’t keep focus, my creativity has diminished so much. I’ve been in a drought for so long.
  • @sielsounds
This was really refreshing to watch. As an aspiring artist I get so stuck in the way things are "supposed" to be done. You really instill a feeling of freedom when it comes to creating that I love so much!

You’re the best! I’m going to send you mine T-shirt design once it is made! Thank you soooooo much as always a great inspiration
