Today's video is about the deadliest neighborhood in Las Vegas. Although debating the best and worst areas of Clark County is debatable, the amount of homicides in a given part of town is fact that everyone can see. This video should be helpful to those of you moving to Las Vegas in the near future, and even those already living in Las Vegas. This video covers Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson, NV.

Speaking of data, I wish Metro (the COUNTY Sherrif) would make more information available around not just just the number homicides but crime in general. It’s important to know that the majority of these homicides/murders are drug or domestic violence related. There is also some gang killings mixed in there as well. This doesn’t mean that EVERYONE shouldn’t always practice good situational awareness whenever they are out in public.

just don't get caught lacking! The shootings are scattered all over Vegas

Coming from Baltimore this is literally safe in comparison which is wild.

yep north las vegas is dangerous. Always has been since I was a kid and that was 10-15 years ago.
  • @OneManOneCamera
Well, you did start near a graveyard and yeah, Boulder Hwy can be sketchy.

Most murders are done by someone you know so it's not like you walk down the street and boom you get shot in the head. Most tend to be family, friend or lover dispute that leads to murders. I hope people realize that😌
  • Hi Jacob. I recalled almost 7months ago I was homeless and stuck in Vegas. In fact, I hanged out at Foremaster and North Las Vegas Blvd. In that time, I sought shelter at Catholic Charities and later on at the Salvation Army on Owens Avenue. Ultimately, I was able to go back home to L.A. I wish and pray that our country would address this crisis for good. Unfortunately, homeless is a business.

On the plus side, houses are pretty affordable in this area, for all you California buyers
  • @charlene1451
if your moving to North Las Vegas make sure it's north of Cheyenne alot less crime and insurance rates are alot less :o)
  • If these locations are based where they dead bodies are found, I’m almost positive the ones on the outskirts of town were moved there after being murdered. Either way, grew up here basically my whole life and it’s easy to distinguish the good neighborhoods from the bad. Be safe out there
  • @Bartels92
Basically the farther away from the strip and downtown you are, the safer you are
  • Nice video Jacob!!! I should look at a comparison between Vegas and Pittsburgh. They are very close in size in terms of urban areas population.
  • @jroar123
No question the east side of town and close to I-15 and Las Vegas Blvd. are tuff neighborhoods.

  • @OGStoneVegas
boulder highway is pretty trashy for pretty much the entirety of its length though
  • @bryanv4081
I read on the KTNV page that there were 6 in Henderson by early August in 2020. But a good video anyway 👍

I don't live in las vegas but have been all over the city numerous times for work. the area where the KMART is in north las vegas always made me nervous. and washington blvd just west of i-15 also was an area I didn't like driving thru. them are 2 areas I would never be in when it's dark......especially alone. and definetly not if I was a female.
