Today I take a drive through North Las Vegas! North Las Vegas encompasses a wide area of the northern Las Vegas valley and the neighborhoods and communities can differ widely depending on which area you find yourself in. In this video, we'll go through a few different areas and you can see for yourself what these communities offer.

  • Thanks for the non bias videos, realtors are obsessed with Summerlin and Henderson but ignore other nice places in the las Vegas Valley.
  • I first moved to Vegas back in 2012 and first home brand new community on Lakemead/Pecos a nice starter home for 80k one car garage/3bed. Negative part was I freakin got robbed 3x within my first year. I’m glad that I now lived in Southern Highlands. Wish I had these type of review videos back then.

For anyone reading this, I lived in North Las Vegas for over 5 years near Nellis Air Force base and I gotta say I never encountered anything bsd in this general area and I absolutely loved living in Vegas. I plan to move back, hoping to find a place in the neighborhood again. If you're on the fence about moving to Vegas, I would say do it, you won't regret it. Unfortunately I had to move due to work related reasons.
  • Thanks for the tour stay until the end. I can’t wait only 9 more days and we will be heading out to Vegas to drive through the new developments and see all that is going on in Las Vegas in person. See u soon!
  • I stayed until the end. Man, your camera was pointing south at my development on the north side of Centennial. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, a great spaghetti western (filmed in Italy). My bias, you know I am a big NLV boomer. Great tour. It has not in the past taken a Fist Full of Dollars😁to buy in NLV, but that may be changing. BTW, I love Jerry's Nugget. Richmond American finished by T home development. They own a lot of property along Centennial. Watercolor is a beautiful development. Good point about Watercolor and the high HOA. But, there is a new Sprouts, Smiths and Carl Jr with an El Pollo Loco down the street. Of the three 'cities' of the Valley, NLV has the cheapest business license for companies. This is why so many businesses are opening up here. There's a lot of street improvements in my neck of NLV, for obvious reasons. I am just a bunny hop south of the new Villages at Tule Springs, one of the four master planned communities in NLV: Tule Springs, El Dorado, Aliente and Valley View. All streets will interconnect. I bought when the price per square foot was 59 bucks. I will be picking Jack's experience, as I now plan to put money into my place. (and, yes Jack, I will pay for your time and, of course, expertise, on the improvements which are marketable) This will be my forever Townhome. I do like my 'hood and this side of the valley is at least worth a look. What about air traffic noise, from Nellis? Generally it is quiet. But, when drills are running, you can look up and see your tax money at work. I have been in areas in Henderson which has a lot of air traffic noise from the airport. I call it the same, as well, Revere, like Paul Revere.
  • I watched until the end. I love seeing all the roads when a licensee drives around.

this is an unbias no bs down to earth video…. especially for someone who is fromnout of town…. thx…

I came across your channel today and sat through 2 over an hour videos each, then i get to this one and you add in the statistics. Very interesting that you chose to do it for North Las Vegas and not the others.
  • @bulcub
nice representation of OLD & NEW NLV!! folks only hear about the old NLV and never go further! There are a lot of RE Agents who do the same thing which sucks but oh-well. I moved here to LV back in 2022. I rented a house on the eastside for a year before purchasing a house here on the eastside. Being from ChiTown, I lived in LosAngeles so I know what run-down areas look like. If you could do a video about East LV and the areas that are around the base and further north like sunrise manor/mountain area, up to the LasVegas Speedway, that would be great.

Hello Jack I appreciate the drive of North Las Vegas because I thought North Las Vegas wasn’t a good area to live not knowing the area have other locations to live. Please continue to do these videos of Las Vegas. I’m thinking about moving to Las Vegas Veronica

You said it, "Jack, this the perfect video for me". 👍:hand-pink-waving:
  • @acw5274
Thanks Jack, another great video man. You do great work. Very helpful.
  • @keonahood276
Jack this video helped us so much, especially being out of town and trying to relocate
  • Hey Jack, I stayed until the end of the video. Fantastic, I will be moving out there in a year and I will definitely contact you.😊
  • @Lululila67
the first street looked like MLK. Aliante is nice but lots of home break-ins there nice area though. Lone Mountain is nice but pricey. Make sure you let everyone know that many communities are HOA's and that they will often be living besides renters. Some of which have childcares running out of their home. Just because you live in an HOA community doesn't mean they dont allow people to rent their homes out. That is the situation we are in now. We live off of La Madre. I do love that much of north las vegas is quiet . People dont go around blasting music usually out of their houses or even there cars. Was used to that in california! What realtor would you recommend for Pahrump? beautiful drive! Thanks for taking the time to make the video!
  • Hi Jack, I have good friends who live in North las vegas around the Decatur/ Elkhorn area. They have been living there for several years and really enjoy the area. We have spent time with them at their lovely home and even been to the Gilcrease orchard not to far from their home. Lots of shopping centers there and good restaurants, etc...gun stores and I believe a shooting range. Today I just returned from being in Las Vegas for a few days. The amount of people and traffic around the strip area is no fun. Once inside the Wynn resort, we stayed put. Lots of road construction too all around that area. North Las Vegas would be a better choice to live than anywhere around the strip...our friends are really trying to get us to move over by them, plus they live in a gated community...thanks for the info in your video. ...
  • Thanks for an excellent video, Jack! I had always heard negative things about NLV, and it's great to see how nice the north side of NLV is. I've watched your other neighborhood tours, which are always very informative and I always watch till the end.
