Excellent pick. Your skill and confidence have grown so much over the years. You bring us some fascinating and classic locks. You make the best content. Second to none! Thank you 😊

You don't know how frustrated I was seeing the spring just sitting there from the beginning... lol Nicely done Ash.

Picked my first lock last night. Admittedly it took 3 days, maybe 20-45 minute sessions once or twice a day for 3 days. Once I got the first one down, I proceeded to get 3 more down and in a few minutes per lock. I was using the sparrow cut away to learn and yeah, I couldn’t get that lock. I got fed up and started messing with a master lock No 1, and got it pretty quickly. Then a commercial. Then one other crappy lock I replaced at work. Then, the cutaway lol. Anyway, I was so stoked and honestly this is all your fault. I came across your channel when I got locked out of a remote building at work and YouTube searched “how to pick a lock.” This was last week. Got hooked on your videos. Bought a sparrow set. Now here we are. Thanks man. Honestly, I was bored and mad at being locked out (ended up shimming that lock with a Red Bull can) but that somehow turned into a hobby where I’ve now dumped hours into your videos learning about locks and how to pick them or how they function. A week ago I would have never cared about or considered this hobby. I’m thankful for the info and the fun and appreciate you a ton.

    Nice lock and demonstration

Lol you make me feel old 😅 I remember when the Chubb 4LC was introduced in the late 80's then disconnected in the late 90's early 2000, the bow of the key if you look it is very similar to the old Union special section keys, great picking as usual and a nice find! Buy the way if you remove the 2 screws you can load the cylinder from the top. #nostalgia #lockpicking #oldschool

Well picked and gutted!! What a lovely old lock and these sharp spools look like good fun. Maybe the ledge in the core holes counteract bump attacks in some sort?

Got a few new ones of these. Also you can depin by taking the rear silver bit off the back and have access from the spring side

Sparrow’s now offer all the 0.025” Monkey paws in dipped handles, though you have to buy the original size and the 3 other sizes as 2 items and select dipped handles on both; you can’t just pick your depth as a single pick. They also don’t dip and handles narrower than 0.025”, which is too bad.

Lock noob, hey buddy I know I haven't hollered at you in a while but I noticed you shim locks a lot. I'm not sure if y'all have them with you living in the UK but the little security tabs that they hide in the boxes of your merchandise if you open them up that little piece of aluminum shim that they have in their works great then you don't have to spend money on buying shims
