It's as though there's some significantly specific purpose to having it be 62.996% particularly.
-
This would lose its feel entirely if it were rounded up to 63%.
-
Personally I prefer 59.481% but that's just me.
-
There are so many minute details that you can only make out while listening closely to the slowed down version. Amazing stuff.
-
I'm under the belief that this is the best song ever made
-
I like the original better, but this version is the reason I like the original version so much. It helps me hear all the detail. That said this version has its own emotional qualities that you can't hear elsewhere. I just love the fast rdj stuff. So beautiful.
-
those drumrolls are so much punchier at this pace
-
I better hit the like button, coz I want this to pop up in my recommended 8 years from now or some shit and surprise me.
-
The break at 0:42 has always been my favourite thing about this song
-
The difference between Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada? 62.996%
-
His Magnus Opus. Also the #1 drum sequencer in the world to date
-
This feels sacred, almost like some sort of rebirth process
-
this is literally the peak of electronic music
-
Only aphex is so good at making tracks that you can even get other tracks just by slowing down.
-
you can reconstruct the song if you turn the speed on youtube up to 1.5834x
-
I can never get bored of this track :)
-
2:30 best part he really breaks it down detailing the feeling here
-
It just goes to show RDJ’s technical detail, it’s like each arrangement plays off one another yet is equally independent and the track still sounds cohesive, master work
-
early linkin park , dj hahn would totally jammin
-
How gradual it is makes the ride some much more rising and climactic , it's a nice speed right there
