I love how everyone is watching this exact video at nearly the exact time, it feels like we're all having a movie hangout or something like that

I always chuckle when The Librarian assumes those Reapers are an edge of map enemy.

a slightly uncomfortable thing to think about is that we only have access to a little less than half of the lifepods that left the aurora, the others fell into the void ☠️

Librarian at the start of this series: “I don’t want to hit or kill the marine life but I have to for my survival!” Librarian now: Hits fishes without a care in the Seamoth
  • @TheVindicar
Gotta love how our dude ignores half-dead Seamoth and half-dead character despite having a repair tool and a few medikits.

22:02 The funniest part about this information is that one of the personal logs mentioned that the mission was going to last 40 weeks. So the dehydrated dessert venting incident happened literally a week after departure

"And I guess save after every action, like I'm waiting for Vegas to crash or something." As the kids say these days: Felt.
  • Fun fact: in the arora you can find posters on the wall and steal them for your own base.

"Stop killing me!" Ampeel: "...and I took that personally."

15:44 Believe me, everything is fine with progression here. Aurora is meant to be a treasure trove of new info and technology
  • Honestly props to the protagonist for doing all the on-land stuff like running around and walking through foliage and climbing mountains and hills, all while wearing flippers. I would have tripped immediately.

not noticing the uranium gives me great pain, but you can't have everything in life.
  • If you like, there is an accessibility setting that lets you pause time while reading the pda and using the inventory.

After watching the first 3 Subnautica videos you posted I decided to play Subnautica and man, I freaking love this game. The main thing that always makes me come back to Subnautica is the soundtrack. It is such a banger, specially the music you hear in the Shallows (start area). And another banger is the music you hear when you push your Cyclops submarine a little too hard. I always purposely drive my Cyclops at full speed just to hear that music. I wish this game had a jukebox like Below Zero. It would be awesome to just rock up around the map driving the Cyclops and running over fish while listening to some banging soundtrack.

Tip: collect brain coral and plant it near your base, it was the plant you were using for oxygen at 29:50, just use a knife and cut the coral to collect a sample.
  • @razzter_
the cave at 29:32 had lots of uraninite crystals (rocks with the green spots), that you can use to power a nuclear reactor. Would be very beneficial to go get as much as you can in the next video

Our guy finally got a nights sleep. It feels amazing sleeping on a proper bed after not having one for a bit.

This series is really fascinating so far. The chance of discovery, beautiful and yet terrifying. Hopefully soon enough, the Librarian can get the Cyclops! Ooohohohooo will that be fun to see
