Egypt has rejected Israel’s proposal to jointly coordinate the reopening and management of the Rafah crossing between Sinai and Gaza. This decision comes after Israel's recent seizure of the Gaza side of the crossing. Egypt insists that, in accordance with existing agreements, the Gaza side should be managed solely by Palestinian authorities.

Reporting live from Amman, Jordan, Al Jazeera’s Imran Khan covers the developments, following Israel's shutdown of Al Jazeera’s operations within its borders. Joining the live coverage from Montreal is Mouin Rabbani, a Middle East analyst and co-editor of the online magazine Jadaliyya.

"'Offended by everything, ashamed by nothing' has never been so appropriate when describing Israel.", as well as any psycho supporting their crimes against humanity.

Endless, Palestinians are being slaughtered by Israel every hour! There's a buffer zone between Egypt and Gaza 8.7 miles, room enough for "humanitarian aid to transpire in that buffer zone area. Egypt is ten times the size of Israel in population, with that, Egypt should start surrounding the buffer zone, so that, humanitarian food and medical aid can get to Palestinians sooner! There's a forsaken amount of land, that all allies for Palestinians, should agree, and support that buffer zone in saving lives! This Buffer Zone should be the main priority, to focus on, in the Israeli invasion on Palestine! The Buffer Zone, from Egypt to Gaza Strip, should be the road for Humanity Aid to move forward, without delay! This major crisis, should over weigh any written policies, to save what's left of the Palestinian population!

Crossing will be a battle ground soon so Eygpt does not want to be involved when attacks start . There is no way Hamas can allow Israel to control the crossing.

Are you saying that IDF soldiers should fight Hamas terrorists in Gaza strip and leave Hamas at the Rafah crossing only because of one silly agreement between Egypt and Israel?
