I’m a 42 year old American expat that’s been living in China for 14 years. I recently decided that I'd like to retire early abroad and I created this channel to share my journey of investing in high yield income stocks, ETFs, Closed end funds and other methods of creating passive income in order to be able to retire early abroad. I hope that in sharing my journey it may help you in some way achieve your passive income investing goals. Nothing on this channel is meant to be financial advice. This just my own personal retirement journey.

Another good video explaining the way it is to the growth investors still out there. All I really care about as a div investor is number of shares and the amount of dividend
  • Great video, lots of people always talking smack when it comes to high yield ETFs. About 3 years ago I bought 445 shares of QYLD, although it has lost NAV, the dividends I've collected every month in 3 years have far surpassed what I lost in NAV. I'm selling QYLD soon so I can reinvest in CONY, ULTY and NVDY. I'll be selling my QYLD shares at a profit not from NAV but from all the dividends I've collected in 3 years. With ULTY, CONY and NVDY I already know I'm going to lose NAV but my monthly dividends will easily far surpass the nav loss. Loose some NAV but massive dividend profits that makes NAV erosion look like a joke 😎
  • I've been in CONY since inception. I bought before the first dividend at 18.43, the share price would have to drop to something like 7 dollars for me to be at break even point. I'm way ahead on it in a few months I will be at ROI

Great video. Thanks for the help. I've been living in Thailand for 6 years now, and my money goes so much further here.
  • Nowadays with these YIELDMAX ETFs all you need is about 100k to retire confortably.

You're so right about being a king with $2500 a month. You are absolutely right, Sir! Most people here in the Philippines barely make $200-$500 a month and while some would make around $1000, their bills, mortgage, and taxes combined would reach $800+.
  • NAV might go down or fluctuate but were kicking of HUGE dividends, growth funds your NAV goes UP but guess what guys almost 0 dividends! No free lunch in the investing world

Fortune favors the bold! Keep up the good work -- I appreciate the videos sharing your journey.
  • Completely agree, I used to own alot of schd and jepq actually, and the dividends were crap. I sold all of that and bought cony, nvdy, ulty, and MSTY way better!!

Am trying to get some family members to jump on this, and it's definitely a mindset problem. I still have my traditional investments from work, but ever since stumbling on to these high yield dividends, I am now trying to replace my income. This video alone should be motivation to make some moves for people on the fence. Just do your research, start small, pay your taxes on income, and continue to build up portfolio by reinvesting.
  • @ The Digital Nomad are you investing in the roundhill weeklys ETF too are just sticking the yieldmax funds?
  • Excellent video ❤!! Could you make an educational video on how you prepare for the nomadic lifestyle? Examples: US Passport process, researching potential countries, language-learning resources, currency information, home-hunting, etc. Are you going to write a book? I'd love to purchase a copy and read it. Thanks, again ❤!
  • Hey I’m new to your channel in fact this is my first video I’m watching. I’ve been investing for years but new to the ETF community. I like what you’re describing here for sure. Two questions; one being, yes the cost of living is lower you mentioned Thailand. Do you know anything about the new tax on any foreign money brought into the country on people living there over 180 days? Secondly from your video CONY which I currently own is not performing well but has an excellent dividend. With its current market position will it be profitable for the future? Thanks for your videos sir.
  • Going to Philippines for 3 months. Ulty will pay for itself in a little over 1 year. AMDY currently takes 1.5 years. AMZY is currently at 2.24 years to break even. These are great investments.

Do you think these funds would eventually go to zero?
