It is absurd to compare the DOD's delivery of aid to Gaza (around 1.5 million pounds a day) with the aid delivered to Japan after the 2011 tsunami (around 3 million pounds over "approximately two months"). Japan wasn't under a constant barrage of missiles, nor was it dependent on another nation for essentials like electricity, medicine, water, and food due to decades of conflict, occupation, and blockade before the tsunami. In 2011, Japan was a high-income nation and a leading OECD donor, which means it had plenty of infrastructure and resources left over to rely on its resources outside of additional aid during the recovery from the tsunami.🤨

Promoting regional stability would be stopping the shipments of munitions to Israel.
