Thought I should share how a basic single surface hang glider is assembled. Since this glider is a rental and stored without breaking down the control frame it only covers sail assembly.
I made this video for audience who are new to the sport. For the experienced pilots, this might take you back to your good opd days. Hope you find it interesting😊

My last WW glider was the Ram Air. I became intimately familiar with the Raven, the Magic IV, and the WW Formula as well as the Ram Air. This looks like a lot of area 4 U. SUGGESTION: DO ALL YOU PREFLIGHTS CHECKS A MINIMUM OF TWO TIMES!!!
  • I appreciate all your videos. Just starting back up teaching and your videos are a pleasure to share because they will know what to expect
  • Alpha 180's is what I trained on at Lookout Mountain Flight Park

Nice work. Come to NZ and you can rig my Alpha 210 and fly her . They do have very different geometry and I have a hard time reaching up to do the nose wires and luff lines sometimes too . They als are terrible to rig and de-rig if it's windy, takes an even more technical approach to rigging so as to prevent her too be blown over .

Do you need pod harness for a low price? I have one that is unused and sized for a smaller person, ~ 5 foot 7, 150 lbs.
  • Thank You, throughly enjoyed enjoyed this one "PORT is always LEFT on the table" did you get airborne?.
  • @hang-gliding

Nice😁! But are you going to bring a ladder later when you set it up on a hill? Fly safe🪁!
