Why Is Fortnite Reload Mode So Sweaty?

Getting horrible teamates for fills makes the sweatiness so much worse

My problem with reload rn are people quitting as soon as game starts, and teammates who are terrified to die and just hide the whole game as if its BR while the rest of the squad is getting 4v3'd

It feels sweaty for so many reasons. Mainly when you’re playing fills. You get the solos players that do their own thing. They over estimate their ability. They die then blame the team and leave. There’s always the one who drops out at lobby (That’s infuriating) and my personal favourite 😡 That guy that lands wherever they want and just works on his load out alone until everyone else has to respawn at their position.

Evolve Jake is a sweat so of course every game probably does not feel sweaty to him because he is the sweat in his games most of the time. For the sweat, it is easy. For everyone else playing against the sweat, it is annoying.

At first the games were easier to play and getting a win would happen here and there but lately for the past 2-3 days(idk if it’s bad RNG) I’ve been getting into way more sweatier matches. I’m not really complaining at all cause honestly it’s been making the game more intense and engaging but there are times where you’re completely on the losing end cause majority of your teams mates aren’t on the same skill level as well and it’s annoying during the start of the game if one of your teammates dies then they quit the game altogether even though we have the privilege to keep respawning till it’s disabled.(really kills the mood)

I'd love to see fortnite update the AI to give them more variety in play style. There are so many tells like the way they hop around, or just stand there and shoot at you.

Excellent point about familiarity with the loot pool and using the weapons. I played OG season last year, so I remember the guns, but I'm definitely not confident with them, and switching back and forth with ZB is rough with bullet drop vs. hit scan.

I cant get more than 3 or 4 kills in reload. Everyone is so good.

It's essentially an LTM squad game, so you'll inherently have a lobby full of mostly random teams without communication. Now, combine that with the fact that any iteration of a map that is considered "OG" will always intrigue the better players.

Nah the biggest issue is that my fills teammates are the worst fortnite players to ever touch the game and my opponents are level 300+ sweats so im constantly forced to 4v1 entire teams because my teammates are too special to understand im pushing

Another thing is that weapons are hitscan, so people with good aim are able to show their true aim in reload as opposed to br where most weapons are projectile based

Thanks again. After watching your video, I made an alt account and played Reload ZB. It was definitely a lower skill lobby, and I was able to get my first win in my third game. After feeling more comfortable in Reload, I switched back to my main and won again. I got lucky with decent teammates, but your instructional video put me in a good frame of mind to enjoy the game and have a good plan. Thank you! GGs!

I think it's just because people don't care if they die as you comeback 30 seconds later so they just rush you

They did a great job blending battle royal mode with the action of a non-stop action creative map.

Jake, to me Battle Royal ZB has been noticeably easier for since Reload started. Love vids, your tips took me from a noob to a decent player now.
