I got this shredder for free from FB marketplace, sold as not working. Took the gamble and luckily worked out the issue to just be the safety switch on the collection bucket (which in my opinion is pointless anyway) to be faulty. Luckily the wiring has male and female connectors, so you can unplug the two plugs from the switch, and connect them back together, bypassing the switch completely with no modifications needed. Pretty satisfying easy fix !

I was wrong, it was a blown condenser on mine. I too removed the safety switch so that I could mont it directly onto a garden waste wheelie bin, no need to stop every 10 mins when you're going lots!

I bet it was the condenser... btw, the cutter will be very hard to turn by hand, it's geared that way! Turn the fan at the other end with one finger, see how easy it turns then.

Will post later if works tried everything else but still very easy to follow better if text was bigger easier to read for us oldies thanks👍👍
