The fact they referenced Maria in this set is genuinely surprising to me. The rest of the set is pretty fun too, but I don't really see it as an $80 set. $60-65 is what I'd prefer

I appreciate that the set includes Shadow as his aura or “trail” in the games is yellow like the speed sphere as well. That’s pretty smart, to include both characters who leave behind a yellow streak in the set with a yellow speed sphere.

The blue sphere box is the Force field power up. You Smash it open and you get a force field

The TV is a shield monitor, when a character jumps on it a transparent blue ball shield goes around them

4:51 Judging by the colors and shapes, I believe the "cannisters" are meant to be Orbot and Cubot in their stored/deactivated state, with their bodies and limbs all tucked away into their heads. 8:07 It's odd that the GUN Wing has an animal inside as well, since in the games it's not actually an Eggman badnik and as such is powered by a Chaos Drive, not an animal.

My favorite subtle reference is the Lavender box which is shadow’s favorite color for perfume and candle scent

I hope they make a blue egg pawn to reference Unleashed if they don’t make sets for that game.

Im totally getting this set and hopefully we'll be getting a Super Shadow minifigure next year, as well a Silver minifigure.

The Maria Easter egg is a huge deep cut. This is definitely a Sonic Adventure 2 tie in for the third movie. I hope you at least researched Maria a little bit, because man; Lego really had the balls to do that. Lol

I am so happy. I saw the drill and was INSTANTLY taken back to my childhood when I got the my absolute favorite set, The Power Miners Thunder Driller. I was in a state of excitement and dread wondering if the drill would be like that drill. The fact that it does indeed move just like the Thunder Driller has made me SO excited to get my hands on this set.

i DEFINITELY recommend this set for people who, like me, love cool little hidden details within Lego sets, and this a perfect example of that. I am also REALLY glad they added shadow to this set and supersonic, who is the cherry on top for this set.
