Update - 29/06/2024 - Apparently there is NO fault with the machine, the noise is normal, it's the solonoid that releases water into the condenser during the self clean cycle.
All the prior visits and parts replaced were a waste of time, I shouldn't have been told the unit might be dangerous.
It still seems odd, I never heard that noise until recently, why it's suddenly so much louder is still unknown, but apparently "normal".

Had Siemens out five times now for this issue, when the drum comes to a stop through any cycle, it makes this loud banging noise. #siemens
6th visit for a 90 minute condenser clean next week.

    The drum stops because the pump starts to pump out the water, which makes a loud clicking sound
