They got it wrong because of narrative that she has a big and powerful voice (because of her high notes in SNSD's voice). She has this softness in her voice while all the other contestants have deeper voice.

Taeyeon's voice in general can be assumed to be deep and soft, and easily confused with other similar voices of similar tone. But her uniqueness lies on the nasal sound and the way her vocal coming in whole, making her singing voice sound fuller, controled, and also full of depth at the same time. Other would be: her emotional conveyance.

Taeyeon's voice is still unique. They didn't realize bc they don't eat Taeyeon's songs every day like us😂 We're on the next level and got TY all correct easily. The girls only could copy Taeyeon to a certain extent. They sounded completely different when singing together without TY, the last round for example 14:13. And the girl in genie outfit sounded more like Seohyun than Taeyeo

Not really a Sone, but I’ve listened to Taeyeon’s INVU album repeatedly during quarantine, so i know my Taeyeon now 😆❤️ her voice is very distinct, got them all correct ☺️

The girl in the genie cosplay had the closest voice to her. Next is the girl in the yellow pants. It's good that they were the last 2 with her in round 4. I had a difficult time finding out which one was Taeyeon when they did gee since I didn't know how Taeyeon would sing the lines of other members. I was only able to differentiate her with her ballads since I've been listening to them since I was in high school lmao.

You can tell it’s Taeyeon by the way she pronounces certain words in the song and also because her voice is a little more developed than the others

For the first and last round, I got it right away without hesitation. But the gee round was a little confusing lol Taeyeon has such a great voice, the best singer truly🥺🥺💗

for me,round 1 is the most difficult but the rest are pretty easy.When Taeyeon sings Can You Hear Me,i can just guess that in a split second tho.Her voice is just that ✨soulful and emotional✨

Listening to many of Taeyeon's OSTs, it was quite simple to notice her vocals. While they do sound similar, there is a unique sound of taeyeon's singing that makes her stand out. The others were slightly deeper. The 1st round was slightly confusing but after hearing all 6 I could tell apart which was Taeyeon's
