"You don’t need religion to have morals. If you can’t determine right from wrong then you lack empathy, not religion."
  • @widowsbite3206
This is the smartest comment section of a Filipino content on youtube.

According to Pope Francis himself "It is better to be an Atheist rather than a devoted Catholic who judges people who not believe in God." An open conversation with an open mind and having respect. The world will be a better place.

Being an atheist is the same as being gay in the Philippines. It is very hard to come out especially to your parents who are devoted.

Coming out as an atheist in the Philippines is almost unheard of. Filipinos are very religious people, but it bothers me that most people think that having no religion means I worship the devil or I'm just going through a bad time in my life. Having no religion is an option. I respect other people's belief, but why can't they respect mine? It's very frustrating.

Intellectual filipinos? Having a fruitful conversation? Sign me up jubilee philippines
  • "Just because we're different doesn't mean we have to be in conflict with each other." And that's the problem with people, not just in religion pero sa buhay in general. We want to impose our beliefs and kept on arguing na ito dapat ang sundin and ito ang tama... Pero nakakalimutan natin na rumespeto, sa tao at sa kung ano mang pinaniniwalaan niya. If yun yung pinaniniwalaan niya, let it be. 👍🏻

The hard thing being an atheist and living with Catholic parents is that they make religion a chore.

imagine an athiest na tumutulong na wlang nag didikta sa kanya na libro at teachings? that for me is genuine morality and humanity.
  • @aldrinkyle5402
this comment section has more braincells then the entire fb community
  • This is what people needs to learn..how to converse properly without cursing and insulting other people cause they have a different beliefs or religion..in short we need "respect".. i hope the time would come that this world would be full of happiness and respect

My ex boyfriend was an atheist and I am a Catholic. He was so kind, loving, sweet and respectful. Sometimes we talked about my faith and how much I love God, he just listens and never judge. This video is really an eye-opener. Kudos to the team who created this.
  • I had been in a relationship wherein my partner's really religious. Everytime I did something wrong, he'll utter a lot of bible verses, in which doesn't truly help me. I tried to apply it into my life but it isn't working. One day, I've talked to him and this is what I exactly told him; "Sorry ____, but those bible verses wouldn't help me to change my life. And please stop convincing me to convert into your religion. Because for me, my relationship with God matters the most. As long as I can talk to Him, my faith is still there. I don't have to perform any activities that will "certify" me as a Catholic.. At the end of day, it's just me and God." Sadly, we broke up...

We can disagree with each other without being disagreeable to one another.
  • When atheist says: “care more about the person less more on their beliefs” damn pls felt it!
  • @ralphdarryl
What I like about this video is that, they are so professional with each other. No harm or personal attacks, I just love it
  • I'm a Catholic and I respect people don't believe God. People have choice to have their own beliefs also I love you guys no matter what.
  • OMG, this is the most atheist-friendly place in the internet for a Filipino. I am just so happy that I have a place to express now.
